“Open all day Saturday! I was a walkin. My kitty was very sick and this was the first chance I had to get her to a vet. I really thought it was the end of the road. Kitty seems much improved today after some tests and shots and advice. Now I spent nearly $500, so it was spendy. BUT that's the cost of pet ownership if you want medical care for them. Glad I had the money. Honestly I am no fan of this mean old cat, but my daughter loves her. Looks like she is going to be around for a long time.”

“I would have never been to this vet if it wasn't for a foster dog I was caring for through a local dog rescue (Animal Help Alliance) because it's about 30 minutes from me. But since it's their go to, I had the opportunity to check it out and I can't say enough about it. Everyone was friendly and professional. Even when I called several times to reschedule the pup's spay, they were very accommodating and understanding. Facility was clean, comfortable, and spacious. They offered coffees, cookies (it was Christmas time), bandanas, and even little treats for the dogs. They also had lots of reading materials, brochures, adoption info, and cute pictures all around. Vet technicians were very patient and sweet. Restrooms were clean. They even sent our pup home with a swag bag in addition to her care instructions. The funniest thing is that they're called "creature comforts" and when I was there (pick up and drop off) there were cute little chipmunks running around parking lot. Lol! If that wasn't enough, they actively support our local dog rescues by hosting donations for care and events. A wonderful clinic in N Las Vegas!”

“What a great experience it was for me and my two dogs, Bailey and Cooper to visit our new Animal Clinic. The Doctor was super fabulous and not only answered all my questions but took the time to listen to me and all my concerns. The doctor was never in a rush and took all the time that I and my two dogs needed from him. The rest of the staff was fabulous also. Everyone at the hospital was friendly, and it was nice to see smiles on everyone face both on the way into the clinic and on the way out. The hospital was super clean and neat. This was our first time to the clinic and seeing our new doctor. I feel comfortable and pleased with our first visit and looking forward to our next - Rick Gaspa.”

As the Matthews area became more urban it changed into a modern clinic treating dogs, cats and small pets. I have been a customer for 9 years and am very satisfied with all of Matthews Animal Clinic's services. The Doctors and the staff provide expert care to my dog. The facility is very clean and the waiting area is comfortable. Boarding and grooming services are also offered. Highly recommended.”

“Our dog collapsed while we were out at breakfast. Since it was New Years Day, we didn't have a ton of options and luckily found this place (thank you for being 24/7/365!!!). Our dog was experiencing anaphylactic shock, and the vets took great care of her. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Even though it was an incredibly stressful experience, I was pleased with the level of care. (And yes emergency services are expensive but not as much as I thought it would be). The only thing I would improve upon is the exit process. I asked for a copy of my dog's lab results twice and ended up leaving without it. We were also told we'd get setup with a dog dermatologist to figure out main allergens, but I need to follow up on that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for emergency services.”

Yes, it may be more expensive than most places, but you are paying for the expertise and experience of the team taking care of your animal. I had no doubt after my initial visit that my dog was going to be in the best hands possible and it’s obvious that the team here cares for your animal like their own. “Brought all my pets here for vaccines and check ups. I loved them! The ladies working there are so sweet and were very gentle with my dogs especially my deaf one! The Dr. is very compassionate and informative. One of my dogs has cancer and they have emailed several times just to check on her.
