“The ONLY problem I’ve ever had was trying to get my cat whom I thought was dying in, but it was weeks before they could see her. I said she’ll be dead by then, and took her to another vet. I also had my dog checked for a tumor after coming home from the Oakland emergency vet, and Dr. Glidden confirmed what they had said. it was MY fault (as opposed to another review) that I didn’t call to say I had him euthanized at home, so they sent out a card that he was due for an appointment. I should have called because I didn’t take him back to be euthanized. Dr. Glidden is funny, extremely knowledgeable, and a chiropractor! I had to take another dog to him as recommended by his other vet who was putting him on medications on top of medications to counteract the effects I the first medications. Dr. Glidden took him off all the medications that were making him really sick with black diarrhea. He adjusted his neck and he was much better! He showed us how to keep his neck from twisting from a previous injury. I love them! Very clean as well! ❤️”

“I took my puppy in to be spayed. She had not been to the vet before and she was so frightened her temperature sky rocked. However they were so gentle and reassuring with her that her temp came down and they were able to proceed with surgery. I've had many dogs at this vet and they never fail to take my feelings into consideration and realize what my pets mean to me. Their prices are fair compared to other animal hospitals in town. Their staff has always been kind and treated me with respect. Sometimes the wait time seems excessive however I know that they will treat us the same way with whatever time we need when seen. For these reasons we will continue to use the East Side animal Hospital for all of our veterinary needs.”

The last vet I went to goat shamed me because she is over weight and Dr. did no such thing. He was there to make Ellie feel better and I appreciated it so much. “Dr. McPherson is the guy to take your cat to! Frank, knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things. More than I see from my personal doctor. Andrew is a great office manager, always there to help if you have an issue between appointments. Brittany (sorry if I spell it wrong) is also super helpful and so caring! She was comforting my cat while she was getting a vaccine shot - so caring! Front desk staff is polite, not more. They do see so many people, I can't ask for more. As far as a veterinarian goes, Dr. M is really really good, would recommend him to anyone! The only downside is that they are so good and affordable, you have to wait sometimes longer. It used to bug me, but now I just prepare to be there for an hour and half for a routine visit. Sometimes you get lucky and see him right away. Believe me, it is worth it - this practice isn't there for your money only (of course, they have to charge you - it is a place of business), they do care!”

“I don't know where the negative reviews came from but this place saved my nokio life who is a 2lb maltese who i found out had a liver shunt all of a sudden he was not able to pee he was moaning in pain. The vet helped eliminate the issue without it being a money grab and because of that i will continue to take take all my dogs there. She is a true veterinary who is focused on the care of pets not your money, if your baby is sick, don't hesitate because I almost turned away because of the negative reviews I seen and i genuinely believe nokio would have died my poor baby”
