“My six year old had never put her head under the water (even after lots of group lessons at school). Within a couple of one-to-one lessons that wasn't an issue anymore. She was never directly asked to put her head under water (I don't think it was even talked about), it just happened organically and with ease through the session. She now loves to jump in from the side and fetch toys from the bottom of the pool. Her front crawl and backstroke technique are improving quickly and she can swim the full length of the pool by herself. The one-to-one lessons have been amazing as Brian stays very close to her which makes her feel safe in the water and he goes at a pace that she feels comfortable with while slightly pushing her to try a bit more. The lessons are always fun and there has been a lot of improvement each week, including her coordination, strength and fitness. I feel that in time she will be a very strong swimmer which will benefit her life immensely and help keep her safe in the ocean and swimming pools.”
