Not only has he found a second captain, but Ashley is also a private chef who turns out fantastic food all day long. The ship is immaculate and stocked with the freshest of foods and all the condiments and snacks you could ask for. If you have something you can not live without feel free to bring it along. My photo trip to see the bears was great. My safety was first and foremost all the time. everything is controlled by the tides and absolutely nothing went wrong. I would highly recommend a trip with Captain Mike and his crew to see the Katmai peninsula be it bears, or fishing you will have a wonderful time.”

“Honestly, I am not sure how I could have had a better introduction into flying a helicopter. Abigail was my instructor and she was straight awesome. She was a great pilot and a great instructor. I really appreciated that she took the time to answer any and all questions I had, both before and after the flight. During the ground school portion, she explained things really well to the point that when we were in the air I almost felt like I had done it before. There was a couple times when I would become a little nervous and she was great at instilling confidence in me and reassuring me. As a total added bonus, the area to fly around is just gorgeous! I really had no idea what to expect from this experience, but I no doubt will be back to fly with Tanalian again! Give them a shot, you'll love the experience!”

I was amazed how much was in reach of Anchorage, and how helpful it was to have his insider take on what we should invest a lot time to see, versus what might be better catching as a quick stop on the way to some other destination. His company also got us a great hotel and boat tour in Seward that we wouldn't have been able to find on our own.
