  James Valentine was easy to work with. His team designed and built stunning fireplace surrounds, door arches and carved stone caps. They do high quality work for a reasonable price. They don’t finish until you are 100% satisfied.

  My husband and I moved to Phoenix from Colorado in early July 2014. We found a home quickly, loved its "bones", but knew it had to have major renovations inside to bring it to our style. Early in the reno process, our realtor/friend knew that we wanted a European style fireplace to complement our French Country décor (this has actually been my dream for 20 years!!!) So, he suggested we check into Architectural Stone Elements. The same morning he gave us this lead, we went to meet with Jose Villa @ ASE. He spent the major part of his morning getting to know us, our style, our taste and showing us possibilities for our fireplace. We settled on one and sealed the deal with Jose. A few weeks later, our chosen design was ready for installation, after being expertly hand-carved in Mexico. Jose's team of installers came to our house and, piece by beautiful piece, my dream fireplace took shape. It is magnificent, and is the showpiece of our new home from every vantage point, starting at the front door!!! This is the best Christmas gift ever! Jose and his wife, Rosie, are wonderful people -- we are so thankful we had the opportunity to work with them and get to know them. And, Jose's whole team were absolute professionals! My husband and I couldn't be happier with our beautiful fireplace. We've already referred Architectural Stone Elements to a neighbor/new friend, and now she is looking forward with great anticipation to her one of a kind fireplace.   Architectural Stone Elements just finished their 5th project with me and I could not be happier. They continuously have gone above and beyond for me and the finished product is simply gorgeous! From the very beginning I feel informed to make the right material choice to fit my budget and am continuously updated on lead times and progress. The staff is equally wonderful, Rosie and Jose are truly a joy to work with. I get so many compliments on their work and will continue to sing their praises!

  Last year as I entertained the idea of putting a fireplace into my home, I had the unique and amazing pleasure of watching all my expectations surpassed beyond measure as I transitioned what was once an ordinary built in entertainment unit into the most spectacular and beautiful fireplace of my dreams. I shopped multiple locations in the Phoenix area and spent endless hours searching the web for just the right Cantera look before finally making the over 50 mile drive to Architectural Stone Elements.
  
  Upon my arrival I was most professionally greeted by Jose Villa and as we walked and spoke he was keenly aware of just the right piece for me. After directing me to the beginning of what would soon be my finished piece, we went inside and he began to sketch for me all that I couldn't put to paper myself. We settled on what I considered to be absolutely phenomenal pricing and I nearly floated the cloud nine I was riding the entire 50 miles back home. Certain aspects of Jose's design had to be quarried first but all pieces arrived in a completely reasonable amount of time and were installed with the utmost care and concern for detail and perfection.
  
  By word of mouth, I have shared Jose's and Architectural Stone Elements name with everyone I know. There is not another source I'd ever consider for my Cantera needs. In fact I am in the midst of my 2nd project with Jose as we're designing a fountain for my front yard.
