I was referred to him by my previous Dr who no longer accepts my insurance and I just wish I would’ve met Dr Douglas Cunningham a LOOONG time ago!!!!! “Macayo’s is a Phoenix institution! It hits that spot deep down in your belly only some greasy spoon Mexican food can hit. Many items can be customized to dietary needs, I.e. no dairy, meat, etc. A couple good vegetarian/vegan options as well. I had the vegetarian enchiladas with no cheese and my wife had the veggie tacos with no cheese. Highly recommend for that taste of Phoenix! Don’t forget the fries ice cream!!”

“I had a massive ground beetle infestation at my commercial building shortly after the monsoon rains a few weeks ago. I called, and even though they were dealing with an influx of pest calls, because the entire valley had the same beetle, they were still able to make it out that very afternoon. He cares, he listens with no judgement (even when he knows you’re eating too much sugar), he is kind, and he’s really good and quick with dental procedures. And a bonus is all the incredibly sweet ladies he has hired to work in his office. Dr. Munkel is also very innovative, offering help and treatment for a variety of issues related to the mouth . . E.g. teeth cleaning, stopping teeth grinding, better sleep . . . Going to the dentist isn’t something we look forward to but it helps when everyone greets you with a smile and kind words!”
