  I had my right hip replaced in 2013 using the more invasive surgical method. That operation was well done with a recovery period of about 3 months until I was walking without recovery pain and discomfort.
  
  On April 18, 2016 I had my left hip replace by Dr. Firestone using the minimally invasive procedure he has practiced for years. The operation went well and I was up walking without a walker within 4 days of the surgery. It has now been 5 weeks and I walk without pain and have returned to 75% of my normal activities. The healing time with Dr. Firestone's procedure is remarkably swift.

  I was referred to Dr. Firestone by some of my fellow Phoenix firefighters and my orthopedic surgeon who did my prior knee surgeries and took care of my broken down knees for over 25 years. Dr. Firestone did 2 total knee replacements and the results were unbelievable. I am now pain free and have very stable and straight legs. I have been able to resume my everyday activities and low impact exercises totally pain free. Dr. Firestone is awesome and I can't thank him enough. Since my surgery I have sent several friends to meet with him for a consult as has my orthopedic surgeon.

  I had a choice to do my surgery here in Phoenix or overseas. After researches I decided to do it here with Dr Firestone. So on February 25, 2016, I had an anterior left hip replacement, NO DOUBT; Dr Firestone is the BEST and MOST qualified Surgeon. Today, I am feeling great, the day and night pain are gone. I am back on my feet 100% and able to enjoy my life again.
  I would like to mention that Dr. Firestone is surrounded by a professional and dedicated team.
  The Amazing staff at Thompson Peak Hospital provides the best care and optimal customer service.

  Dr. Firestone is a true professional in the field of joint replacement and in my case, a right hip. Everything in my surgery went better than expected and 3 months later, I'm walking 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day, bicycling, offshore fishing and a host of other things I had given up on, all without pain. I was particularly pleased with his cautious approach to diagnosis, not rushing to a surgical conclusion until absolutely sure. His staff is highly qualified, courteous and very sensitive to a patients needs. I highly recommend Dr. Firestone.

  My experience with Dr. Firestone and his office has been great! Dr. Firestone has been very responsive to my questions and my progress. The recovery time has been much quicker and easier than when I had my other knee replaced 2007. When I have a question, the office staff responds immediately to help me. If I need another joint replaced, Dr. Firestone will be my first choice.
