“There's ample parking here. it's right next to the Club SAR, but it doesn't lead directly to the Indian Bend Wash visitor center park as I thought. You have to walk out of the parking lot, make a left and then you will find the sidewalk that takes you the park (on your left hand side). Then, you will run into the baseball fields. Walk a little farther ahead for about 10 minutes to find the playground. Downsides: The lot did have a few cars in even super early in the morning (most likely the folks going to the gym next door). Also no shade...”

“This parking lot is best suited for those who are either going to watch/play in the Chaparral Training Field (soccer) or the Chaparral Park Ball Field (baseball). If you walk about 5 minutes from this lot, you can also reach the Dog Park and about 3 minutes from there gets you to the Xeriscape Garden. There were 2 rows of off-street parking spaces at this particular lot. I'm not sure if that would be enough spaces if there was a sports game going on. However, should this lot fill up, you can go 8075 E. Jackbrabbit Parking lot for overflow spots.”

“Very convenient parking spot next to the Chaparral Lake and Park walking area. It's safe to park your car there, and the lot is kept clean. However, be aware that on weekends when they do their sports tournaments, the lot does fill up and parking might be limited.”
