“No one is happy when they contact these people! I had to make a contractor claim on a registered contractor in good standing in which the business took a deposit for work to be done which had not yet been started when the business quickly failed due to the unforeseen death of the business owner. The process to make a claim is complicated and based on the laws of our state. I had to do a good amount of work to provide everything needed to make a claim including giving them proof of payment, written statements, contacting the bonding company, and completing several difficult forms. It almost seems like lawyer level stuff, and it is evident there are limits to what they can and cannot do based on the ways the lawmakers write the laws. While navigating this process, when I called to ask questions or for help, the staff in the legal department were very responsive and helpful. If I had it to do over again, would prefer to do business with licensed providers that either take payment once they complete the work, or who take credit card payment for a deposit, as a credit card dispute for non-performance is way easier and faster. For me they came through with a recovery fund payment of which I am grateful. Overall, the AOC employees have a somewhat thankless job and want to say that what they did to research and resolve my case/claim was very helpful and appreciated.”

“AC was amazing. Don't know how they afford it. Wish my house felt like that all the time. Dude next to me was really cold because he was in a tank top. Asked me to wrap him in toilet paper. Thought it would be funny so I did. Got an orange and peanut butter with bread to eat. Would minus one star for no jelly, but was free so can't really complain there. They put these really nifty steel bars in between every 4 feet or so on all the very comfortable icy cold cement benches to prevent you from laying down if you are tired. You gotta be awake and alert for when you see the judge, which might take about 8 hours or so. I thought that was very thoughtful of whoever designed the jail. Also, expect someone to ask how much money you have, and how much all your assets are worth. Not really sure why they are doing my accounting for me while I was in jail, but they were nice enough to do it for free.”

“I have visited this location twice now; and both times I felt listen to and taken care of. The first time was for extreme abdominal pain, and the second time was for chest pain and dizziness. The entire staff is incredible, and really took the time to listen to me and run as many tests as possible. Those tests helped direct me to a specialist for further care. I wish I could remember the name of the lady at the front desk who checked me in both times; she is so kind and caring. Both times I visited it’s because I was unable to get in with my primary care doctor, and my pain was getting worse. I can’t express how thankful I am for the care that was taken both times. I also appreciate how easy and quick it is to get in: there was almost no wait and I was seen right away. This is the best care I’ve ever had.”
