“Definitely was a last minute decision to move here but it is very convenient they only do background checks so no rental history included at all. The ladies in the front are nice. They have courtesy security walking around all the time. I never had any problems with the other neighbors, everyone pretty much stays to their self. The area has a lot of places nearby in walking distance. The apartment isn’t to bad either, you pay for what you get basically. I did see like 2 roaches, called maintenance they came next day to spray down the area I seen them in and I haven’t seen them since. They do have maintenance walking around all day keeping the complex clean as well. I would recommend to others looking for a place that’s doesn’t worry about rental history.”

PREVIOUS: It was a nice atmosphere until about a month ago, when up the street new tenants moved in, all of whom are FAR below the 55+ age this park is advertised to be, (appear to be teenagers or young adults). With these new tenants I have witnessed loud fighting, fist fight in the street, rock throwing, multiple different cars at all hours, etc. Not the peaceful environment it once was.”

“Great course. Staff was very pleasant, helpful and available. Course was pretty challenging, lots of elevation changes, challenging greens and hazards that make you think about your shots before you take them. Greens were super fast, even though there's been a ton of rain this week. Hold well and challenging slopes that are difficult to read. Very good course for the rate. Not the cheapest and no where near the most expensive. Great place to play!”

“Dr. Sohail is a very knowledgeable cardiologist who takes time to make sure that I understand what’s going on. I’ve had times where I was really worried and he helped explain what was happening to me. Dahlia, his nurse practitioner, is a lovely lady and she takes her time with me. Jamie, the medical assistant is always pleasant to me over the phone and takes the time to explain things. I love the tech’s energy. Whatever I need to come in for an echocardiogram, she talks to me about everything. I love talking to her and laughing. The entire staff right now has been cut because of COVID. They have been referring all CPAP patients to a DME company since Mary no longer works with them. I really like the staff that they have right now because they’re not rude. There is a hold whenever I call though. I see only one person working at the front desk answering the phones when I do come in.”

“Was pleasantly surprised how nice hotel was. Fairly new and offers free breakfast which has scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, make your own waffles, also cereal, yogurt and fruit. Room has microwave and fridge, nice large bathroom, and great view of cow pasture. Beds were not the most comfortable and rate was much higher than average so gave 4 stars. They are the only hotel in La Vernia so it was convenient.”
