“Went for a stroll today at the Rio Salado habitat restoration park. Haven't been here for quite some time I noticed a lot of the foliage and other plants have died back. It's not quite as shady as it used to be, no doubt due to the drought we had last year. However the wild life continues on, wild birds, tortoises and more still can seek refuge here. Considering that this is Arizona where it can be extremely hot, I still think this place is quiet and beautiful.”

“Went with my 2 year old. There was a section of the playground that was perfect for her, so we stayed in that section while we were there. There are shades above the playground to help keep the sun off the equipment. They worked decently well.”

“Great place to go. A little pricy at $12 a day even if it’s only for an hour or 2 (which it was in my case) but still very fun over all. They have a machine you can buy tickets at in the parking lot so you don’t have to bring a Tonto national pass with you but they also sell them at all the gas stations along the way which also works.”

“For anyone who hikes regularly, this is going to be an easy hike. Not a ton of elevation gain and the terrain is basically a smooth path. The views are decent and varied. Certainly worth a hike, especially if you own an annual pass to the state parks.”

“Today was beautiful. You do have to pay $7 to get into the park, but it's totally worth it. It's beautiful and family friendly. Slate hike is very kid friendly. And the park by the trails is so fun. Go look inside the museum. Its fun, my kids loved it. Also, you can use a horse on the trail. I think it's $25 per person.”

“I had a leaning Saguaro that needed a limb removed and to be straightened. The Saguaro leaned significantly within a 2 week timeframe. I was pretty worried about it and was hoping to get it fixed within the next few days. AZ Cactus Experts couldn't get me on the schedule right away (mostly due to my schedule constraints) but they stopped by to provide temporary supports for the time between when I called and when they could get me scheduled, free of charge. They quoted me less than Goodman's and Saguaro Doctor. Claudia coordinated everything very well and communicated as needed. Chali, the man who serviced the Saguaro, has a wealth of knowledge of many different types of cactus - he was able to straighten the cactus out, recommend care, explain the overall work process, diagnose issues, repair irrigation (which wasn't part of the agreement, but he did it anyway at no cost), and assess the root situation. I'm a Project Manager at a leading General Contractor in AZ and I can attest to this man's ability to professionally assess and communicate an issue. When Chali discovered that the Saguaro was originally planted wrong, he showed me his findings and explained why. He said that I can leave it and it won't hurt anything or I can dig a sloped grade to the top of the roots to expose the Saguaro correctly. I opted to keep it as-is. These guys did great, seriously great work and I would not hesitate to hire them again for not just my Saguaro, but any of my other cacti in my cactus garden (& for non-residential work if they are open to it). We need more businesses like AZ Cactus Experts. Great job AZ Cactus Experts and thank you!!”

“It's a very huge park. It may not look like much from the outside. It's just one sidewalk that passes through a stretch of green grass, and there's not much in terms of scenery. However, there's a lot to do in this park. They have so many sports courts for all the sports you desire- bocce ball, racquetball, basketball; they even have a tennis center! They also had 2 showers at the front. I'm truly impressed. Also, they have a playground area and the main play area is shaded under a roof so you can stay cool. :)”

“Dr. Mark Campbell is a down to earth surgeon very confident in what he does. He has preformed one of two total knee replacement surgery's on me. I am on day four and I am up and about. The pain is more manageable then I had thought. I have zero hesitations about having my other knee replaced by Dr. Campbell. I would highly recommend this surgeon to anyone he is top notch!”
