“Very nice Hotel, just north of downtown Austin. Affordable luxury, close to many good restaurants. We chose the Round Rock area to get a jump on the big city weekday traffic problems. Check-in was quick and easy, the desk attendant was courteous and informative about the rooms and the property. Our room was fantastic, updated with all the modern fixtures. My only criticism would be the location in conjunction with the outer road on southbound I-35. Familiarize yourself with the shortcuts and back streets to make the surrounding businesses more accessible.”

Georgia has made the stay a comfortable one by assuring we received all amenities each time she comes and or correcting issues. Currently upgrading internet service so wifi availability may be limited. Other than that, it is a legit, fair, well kept, undemanded hotel for short term vacationing as well as convenient home away from home. “I love The Scottsdale Plaza Resort. I stayed there over the Labor Day weekend 2020 and very much enjoyed it. The room was clean and spacious with all the amenities I could have wanted, including a fireplace which I didn't use because it was summer. There was a private patio and a private balcony. The pool water was somehow very cool and refreshing even though the weather was hot night and day. The staff is very, very helpful and polite. I highly recommend the property and will stay there any chance I get.”

“Wow! One of the nicest Residence inn I’ve stayed at. It’s new, located in an amazing spot, friendly service, big rooms, and they serve a hot breakfast buffet! We were also able to check in early. We got a first floor room which wasn’t bad. It had high ceilings and it was big. Clean and comfortable. The bathroom shower was great!! I love that check out is at noon. The hot breakfast buffet consisted of eggs, sausage, crunchy potatoes. They also had packaged items like hard boil eggs and yogurt. Parking is free and plentiful with structure in the back. They are also dog friendly with a dog releasing area/park. Service was also super friendly. Totally would come back!”

“Clean and renovated looked like. For the cost it was great! DirecTv and nice TV room had fridge microwave and hardwood floors. The pool was quaint and cute, we didn't get in but there were ppl enjoying it. Was only there for a brief time so we didn't get breakfast, not sure if they had it. I mean I've been to big cities and gotten horrible rooms for this cost. Van Buren is a little dicey in some areas but it's close to downtown. If you're visiting Phoenix this is a nice spot to go to! Also staff was friendly. My guy locked the room key and his wallet inside and they made us another one without hassle. I've been to some hotels that will make you bring your ID back. So annoying. Had a great time and the beds were comfy.”

“This hotel was so nice it was a breath of fresh air after some of the nightmares I had to put up with other hotels recently. The staff was super nice and friendly. The room, hotel (inside and out) were super clean. I did not find A SINGLE THING wrong with this hotel. And that is rare to come by. So kudos to you Marriott for restoring my faith in hotels. I will look for a Marriott in any location I'm staying at first and pray each one is as nice as this hotel location. Thank you & I definitely recommend!!! ?”
