Second, CCS has a great reading and writing curriculum, incorporating the Spalding method, known for its use of writing to teach reading. Third, CCS uses the Singapore math method, which is conceptual and concise in its mastery-based approach in building a strong foundation in mathematics. We like how CCS encourages parents to partner with teachers to ensure their children are developing good habits. We love that Mandarin is taught as a second language, and music opportunities, such as violin, start as early as 1st grade. Finally, our children seem to really enjoy the learning, friendships, and activities at CCS and want us to send them there year after year.”
