“One of my favorite Oakland spots I stumbled upon about a year ago! Everything here is made fresh to order with excellent ingredients and comes out hot and delicious. The service is excellent - all the staff members remember our names and checked on us multiple times. We ordered a beef stick, chicken stick, papaya salad, dry fried ribs and a spicy meat dish similar to a curry you dip and mix with rice and fresh veggies. Don’t get sticker shock for the price - the portions are VERY generous, one entree can easily feed 2 people. “Come in to Timeless for pumpkin spice season!! Their pumpkin cheesecake is absolutely incredible and creamy and the pumpkin pie is very well made. Usually pumpkin spice lattes are much too sweet and taste artificial, but the one here is SO good. A thousand times better than Starbucks, one of the best pumpkin lattes I've had in my life. Right now for the season they're also selling a "spooky assortment" chocolate box, and the cafe is full of cute decorations. Also tried the double "twinkie". It was very sweet and dense, but it doesn't give that awful sugar rush typical of processed twinkies. The chocolates are pretty good too. I enjoyed that they sell electric kettles, brew grinders, filters, coffee press, glass dripper, mugs, tumblers, and chemex coffee makers.”

“I have only gotten bubble tea from here, so I can't speak about their food, but I've been pretty happy with the bubble teas I've gotten from here. Lately, I've only gotten the taro milk tea (which comes with boba), partly because it's one that I can ask for no sugar and can have non-dairy milk options (for 50 cents). (I think the Thai milk tea, for example, only comes with regular sugar or extra sugar, which I don't want. I'd want a less sugar option, but I guess whatever mix they have for the Thai milk tea is already pre-sweetened.) I like being able to order on the kiosks - usually makes it less likely for there to be a misunderstanding about what I want. You can also order through the Snackpass app if you have it. You can specify the sweetness level and ice level, too, which is nice. And they you get a text when your drink is ready. The last couple times, my drink was ready much earlier than it originally estimated, which was nice. There are only four "classic" milk teas that have the boba included, and these aren't priced too bad. The others don't include boba so you have to add it as an extra for 50 cents, and they're more expensive drinks to begin with, so those end up being rather pricey ... so I haven't gotten them. But the boba texture is almost always perfect and the drink flavors pretty good. So, it's not bad for when I'm in the area. But I wouldn't go out of my way to go there.”

“I like this old fashioned burger joint very much. The burgers are not greasy and the veggies are very fresh. I typically go with the turkey burger option which is very good as well. The buns are high quality which include a heavy topping of sesame seeds. Try the sweet potatoe fries and a more healthy option to your comfort food meal. I order mine with no salt as they are quite flavorful as is. The hotdogs are very good as well and are of high quality. I assume they are of the Casper Hotdog brand or something very similar. Don't sleep on the varies sausages either as they are delicious. Looking for something with a bit of ethnic flare? The Gyros are great. The owners are very friendly. The wait is short even when it's quite busy. The environment is always clean and orderly. The customers are always respectful and courteous. Even during the after school hours the kids dining there, while obviously enjoying themselves, are careful not to be too loud. Suffice it to say it's a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Did I mention the food is really good?”

Also, when I told her pan fried Xiao long BAO is amazing, she recommended other menues to try in the future. She is very friendly and supportive. Yeah, that pan fried Xiao long BAO is DELICIOUS. I had it for the first time in my life. When I sat at the table, I had no expectation. When I had the first bite of that Xiao long BAO, I was actually surprised at the taste, esp at how delicious it is lol. So I talked to myself "it's so good" "it's so good" hahaha. I only had steamed xiaolongbao in my life. And this pan fried one has a crusty side. The color difference between the top of the bun and the middle is because of the crust. And this crust is what adds so much value to this xiaolongbao. I ordered a lot for my dinner, too. I didn't try the cold beef that I ordered at all and took it home. The noodle is good, too! I forgot the noodles menu name already .. but you can show one of the pictures on my review to the server. Then, I ordered a hot green tea. How nice it was! They brought the whole kettle. As a result the tea remained hot. The interior is also really nice and modern. I saw many people takeout as I dine inside the restaurant. But this place is a great place to have a gathering or dine in! I heartily recommend this place. 5 stars! (The plates are cute, too).”
