“Really liked the no-frill, but responsive, honest and good auto work done by Adam. I called a few places to get a quote for a knock sensor replacement, Adam was the only one saying it can be done within 1 hour and a reasonable price, all others were quoting above 2-3 hours of work. I checked on YouTube how the work is done and didn't even want to argue with those exaggerating the labor work. Amazingly, we were indeed in and out in ~1 hour and with a cleared engine light! “My goto place when I fly out of Oakland. Best prices in the area, great costumer service, rooms are fine, appreciate like the gated long term parking with security. Left my car at the hotel for 2 weeks with no issues. It’s a basic no fills hotel, perfect for my needs when traveling. They have 24 hr shuttle service to the airport. Staff is always friendly and you can tell it’s family run. Never felt unsafe. Plus the Indian food restaurant next door is amazing! If you want something more fancy/upscale this hotel isn’t for you, but if you’re a budget traveler but also want to feel safe, then this is the hotel.”

“I needed a part for my Dyson V8 floor vacuum that no one either locally in my area or even on the Internet seem to have in stock, and would not have for months because of supply chain issues. In doing a Google search I came across Brilliant Vacuum, that indicated that the part I needed appeared to be in stock. I called the owner of the shop and explained why I was calling. He said he had the part I needed in stock,, but just to be sure when into the stock room to check. He said it was in stock and that he could send it out today. I told him I would order it,, which I did. I got an email letting me know that it was shipping out the very day that I placed the order. I just received it from UPS 2 days after it shipped, and I am in Orlando Florida too. And it was exactly what I was looking for. Great shop great service and great price I paid for this part very happy and I will definitely order again.”

“We had the best teachers! Except Mr. McFarlane - 1975. The Parker 5: Mrs. Davis, Miss M. Lee, Miss D. Lee, (sisters) Mrs. Hall, (Arbuckle) and Miss Clay! Five gorgeous Black women who made a wonderful impact on our lives. I graduated in 1976! Mrs. Hall (Arbuckle) knew the Roberts family the longest. She was there for us when our daddy died in 1969. Four out of 6 of us graduated from Parker. My family was walked to school by The Black Panthers. Parker Elementary School IS my history & home.”
