The store is probably the cleanest I have seen out of all the other Vallarta is here in Bakersfield. The workers here are all helpful and friendly. Not bad looking either LOL. Shelves are always stocked nice. Bakery smell so delicious. In the food court what can I say about the amazing smells and freshness and taste of the food prepared there. “We always love coming to this location of Big 5. It's clean, large and enough retail space to be very organized. As a customer, I don't feel overwhelmed by products in this store. It's always clean, always well staffed, and in order. I also appreciate how I can depend on knowing they have a clearly appointed clearance/marked down area for their shoes, separate from their regular priced shoes. These shoes are all name brand and just as nice! We prefer to buy our shoes from this section for our growing family.”

“These guys know their stuff about tires I bought some tires from them and they were making a lot of noise and so they changed my tires out for me to some quieter tires and they also did my brakes and my oil change and replaced the wheel bearings on my 2013 Chevy Malibu and they're really fast, yeah they do great work I was really happy with the service and the price, really affordable for the amount of time they put into my car. They also gave me suggestions on keeping my car running better and other little things that I wasn't aware of thanks guys good job”

“PHD Mechanical was outstanding! I've had plumbers here before, and can see the difference in professionalism immediately. The PHD team, Jake and Steve, arrived to our old 1849 house, on-time, and they were highly efficient in fixing my 2 faucets. They left no mess behind--they were very clean and considerate from the outset, with shoe coverings, etc. Most importantly though, they were smart--I don't like to hover, so they fixed the problems, and then afterwards, explained to me (a non-plumber) very clearly what they had fixed, so I understood thoroughly. That is the mark of a genius: you explain complicated subjects clearly to clueless people and they get it. I really appreciate learning about how house things work, especially as a new home owner. Thanks so much Jake and Steve, I recommend you wholeheartedly! I would definitely use them again; they are trustworthy and excellent.”
