“Best stay ever at a Best Western. Mariah and Emma, were very kind, helpful, thoughtful. We highly recommend this Best Western. Looking forward to stay next month. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast wasn't just a continental breakfast, it was like a restaurant. Emma, kept everything clean and well stocked. So friendly. The biscuits and gravy was delicious. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, waffles, pancakes, fruit, juice, coffee, cereal, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels. The whole 9 yards. Best ever.”

“I booked a room last minute so I was happy to see that They had one available for me. Unfortunately the room smelled like cigarettes despite being a no smoking room. The lady at the front desk was nice and she told me this ahead of time but unfortunately that was the only bedroom available. Again I booked same day in the middle of the night. When I arrived at my room it was clean and tidy, cigarette smell aside. The latch was broken and I called the front desk. The owner himself came by and apologized for the inconvenience. He explained they were remodeling and fixing things throughout the hotel and was happily replaced the door latch himself and apologized once again. I rate it 4 stars because it had everything I needed, the staff was friendly and willing to help. It’s not fancy but it’s affordable and has all the essentials”

“I stayed at Spaceport for a several months as a weekly tenant because I had business to take care of in the area. I would highly recommend staying there. The park is quiet and well maintained. The price is very affordable! The manager, Barbara, is a kind lady. No frills and desert landscaping.”

“Great little place. The room was clean and neat and the price was right. I had just driven non stop from Sacramento and was really beat by the time I got to Mojave. The women that checked me in was very pleasant and got me situated promptly. Next time I drive back this way I will stay here again.”

“For this price it's everything as to be expected. The rooms are slowly being updated one by one. More than that, When I explained how Edwards AFB Temp housing screwed my wife and I over he gave us his best room for the same price. It's nice to see even if Temp housing might screw over its service members the community will bend over backwards to help however they can. Customer service was spot on. If you want high end amenities this wont be your place yet, but if you need an extended stay at an affordable price this is the place to stay. *******edit******* If you think you may need to shorten your reservation don't make it online. Call them directly. They've been rolled over the coals by red lion so its a bit of a pain by no fault of this establishment. Do yourself a favor and reserve the room directly with them. But again the customer service is great!”

“This is such a neat place to RV! You can sit next to your rig with your morning coffee and watch the gliders. The sites a good size, but bring a rug since they are mostly dirt and (little bits of) gravel..The restrooms and laundry room are sufficient. One evening, we were awakened by some very bizarre sounds. My husband claimed it was squirrels. I must defend him since he was sound asleep when I asked him to listen. :) The next morning we found out we were hearing coyotes calling out to each other. Within walking distance, you’ll find a fun little restaurant by the airport. The food is good and the folks working there, are very friendly and knowledgeable. We are contemplating gliding the next time we stay at this park, and we will be back! We’ve met some of the friendliest people right here at this unique RV park.”

“We have been enjoying Indian Hills Campground for over 20 years. We came up here when our children were young. Now we are blessed to watch them sharing those same experiences with their children. We are here at least 3-4 times in the summer. It is a great place to spend quality time with family, a place to come and relax, do a little fishing, enjoy each other’s company. We absolutely love the simplicity here. The staff is amazing and will do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable. If you are looking for glitz and glitter don’t come here If you are looking for a relaxing time, without the usual overcrowded campgrounds this is the place for you. I am looking forward to many more years of making great memories with not only my children but my grandchildren as well.”

“I love this place. My mom contributes frequently to the sisters in helping them build their new chapel, feed the animals, and general maintenance. As far as I know this monastery is not associated with saint malachy Catholic Church down in the city, but their sisters have been there to help with special events. This place has a great gift shop and a retreat program. The retreat program is for those that are contemplating entering the ordained life. The cows and goats that are kept there are very happy and everyone is welcome to pet them when they are near the fence line. Mass is held here daily but I believe mass is only open to the public on Sundays. Every other mass is private to those that live in the community there. I believe the gift shop also has limited hours but I'm not sure what those hours are. I think you can call to find out. I was a cradle Catholic but I attended a Pentecostal Church in my teenage years. Before my grandma died she gave me a Catholic Bible and I eventually returned to my faith. Another thing I should mention is that this place is closed mostly throughout the winter and especially when there is a lot of snow. When you're done visiting the Monastery you can go up to Tehachapi Mountain Park which is about 1,000 feet higher in elevation and only about a half mile up the road.”

“Mojave Desert is great place to be in to live if you're a person that enjoy sightseeing quietness stargazing and practically having a piece of Mind perfect place for you if you so called to clean I don't think this is the right place for you because it's called the desert it is constructed mainly of dirt so yeah if you ever been to Mojave Desert you might get dirty. Enjoy going out into the desert shooting target practicing love going hiking through the desert exploring caves in abandoned places going on top of the mountain top looking at the stars love everything about Mojave Desert a quiet place but just for the record I'm from Watts California Jordan down projects these are not my stomping grounds but I enjoy the peaceful miss that I can get here”
