I had a great experience with Dr Hsu. I was seen on time and my exam was thorough, but quick. The result is the best pair of glasses I've ever had. The prescription is perfect, the fit is perfect, and the woman helping me chose a pair was helpful but I never thought she was trying to up-sell me. After 3 years of wearing glasses from a nation wide retailer (WP) that fell off my face and the lenses never felt quite right, I couldn't be happier. I'm sending my husband there next week, they have a great selection of frames and he is due for an upgrade.
I have been going to Dr. Hsu’s Office for over a decade. I have Kaiser insurance but I still prefer to pay out of pocket and go to Dr. Hsu’s office. He truly cares about his patients. He would take the time to answer my ample amount of questions. Not once did he give me the vibe that he was annoyed. I had so many questions on whether I should go with one day versus 2 week disposable contact lenses. I also had so many questions about all the brands out there. At my last visit, I had an eye infection, he had to call multiple times to the pharmacy for me- to see what generic prescription I can go with. The “named brand” prescription just cost too much. He was so responsive and helpful. I refer all my friends there (of all ethnicities). Many of my friends would drive from Irvine, dtla, even San Diego just to go to Dr. Hsu’s office. My friends would not drive this far if they had a better optometrist to go to. Did I mention Dr. Hsu can speak Spanish? My friend’s mom only spoke Spanish and she was so impressed! I definitely recommend everyone to try this place and the after service is really good too. Any time I need to get my glasses/sunglasses adjusted, they do it for free!
Came here for an eye exam along with a purchase of glasses and contacts for my daughter. The employees were very professional and were very flexible on their schedule. They were also very kind, starting conversation and being overall very hospitable. Highly recommend.
