(September 2, 2019, 9:30 am)For a couple of years, this was the Baco Shop, a fast casual place with good food. Now, the owners have reconfigured it as a sit-down Tex-Mex restaurant and bar. There is a similar place downtown, Bar Ama. The food is good. Delicious flour tortillas are featured in many dishes. Queso was well garnished, and a summer salad with peach and tomato was delicious. Pork shoulder pibil was very good, served with three puffy & yummy flour tortillas.

(August 25, 2019, 8:05 pm)Almost don't want to say how good the food and vibe is here, 'cuz the place is small, and there probably will be lines to get in. That said, I gotta say that Amacita is a revelation. Go. Thank me later.

(July 28, 2019, 10:24 am)We had seen the place had changed it's concept and were excited to try after seeing the menu and photos of the food. It did not disappoint. We ordered the grilled shrimp, grilled mini corn, and the pork dish, with rice and beans. It was all delicious and beautifully presented. Fresh, flavorful and great service too. Look forward to trying everything eventually. It was fairly quick too, so great before catching a movie. I wish success for this new awesome restaurant!
