  Perfect for a hikeout option. Although, it is little bit scary because of the large bushes around the reserve there is a trail for walking around. Plus there is a park nearby for family outings and picnics. No entry fees so would definitely recommend checking out once????

  I absolutely love this place. It's a bunch of parks and recreation areas all mashed into one. If you are in this area you have many choices: The pond (Balboa Park), the remote control airplane field, the shady parking lot with an open grass park, or the back park area that's tucked away, and there's more. They all have access to public restrooms.

  Very nice place to hold our end of the season cross country picnic. Started the day with empty trash cans, clean restrooms and a fully loaded soap dispenser. The amphitheater provided plenty of tables and seating and was ideal for presenting awards and there were plenty of shade trees and grass for the kids to run around.

  Always a pleasant time when relaxing or just enjoying all the beauty nature has to offer. The restrooms are usually decent and Parks are kept Clean.

  Fun and easy hiking that is dog friendly. But this is not nature unspoiled. There are homeless encampments along the trail. The trail is adjacent to two golf courses and a very fun and pleasant regional park.
