(July 25, 2017, 9:10 pm)This school changed our 4th grade daughter's life. She had not been fitting in to school since kindergarten. This year, with a small classroom/grade of 16 students and enthusiastic teachers, she found her tribe. She was challenged. She walked in and the teacher said, "Welcome to 4th grade. You will now start 5th grade math." She loved it. She loved the weekly science labs. She loved the frequent field trips, including Sacramento. For the first time ever, she loved school. Most of all, she loved her friends... her tribe. She understands who she is now better than before. She sees she has strengths and challenges, but she gets to ask the big questions at this school. Other parents have also remarked how this school has changed their child's life. A true gem within LAUSD.
