“This place has a fun menu with unique drinks, a chill vibe, and super friendly staff. I ordered the purple dream with 50% sugar (the minimum for the drink) and was so happy that it wasn’t too sweet. We also got the ABG and it was definitely coffee forward and hit the spot. The boba was delicious as well. Would definitely return! So many flavors left to try!”

“Overall: Great neighborhood corner pharmacy/market! Good Hours too, open late! Pros: This place is a one-stop shop for most every day needs from basic groceries to beer/wine and even cosmetics and kitchenware! The staff is equally impressive in their knowledge and kindness. They were even open on the 4th of July! Cons: Nothing worth noting other than maybe more inventory in shelves or possibly have more aisles w/other goods.”

“I finally found my new hair person! Cesare actually cares about your hair. I had tremendous hair loss and he put beautiful extensions in for me. Then, months later he took them out as gently as possible and we talked about hair care, keeping it healthy, new hair growth - all of it! I don't need extensions any more. I just go to him to get beautiful hair cuts now! He pays attention to the direction of your hair growth and your face shape to make sure you've got the most flattering cut. Love!”

“A few years ago I had the opportunity to move my salon into an old house that I had my eye on for years for my studio Hair By Cesare in Old Town Pasadena. When it finally came available, I knew it needed work to become what I wanted in a Salon space. I asked Michelle with Amberleaf Inc. Interior Design to help bring my vision to life. I only gave her three parameters, Contemporary feel with White, Stainless steel and Blue. She was able to work with me to figure out how to take those thoughts and turn them into a Boutique salon environment I was happy to be in all day. If I had my way I would never leave. Clients always comment on how comfortable the space is. Its not too big so it was important to make use of every inch. Michelle helped me design some custom banquette seating with storage for my lounge, along with a custom white laquer metal reception desk, that is the perfect height for me when standing. Even the lighting was considered because I need to have something that closely resembles natural daylight to get the hair color right. Her expertise in lighting helped me select the perfect solution of LED track with proper color spectrum. Lets not forget the window shades which allow light in but reduce the amount of heat we get from the older windows. I would recommend Amberleaf and Michelle to anyone who wants a Design that is well thought, within budget, with great follow through. Her work really is amazing and will stand the test of time.”
