“The staff was wonderful, the hotel was clean and the prices were affordable. The beds were so comfortable. The rooms were equipped with so many outlets and little details made available for guests in the rooms like extra toothpaste and cotton swabs were just some of the great amenities. The pool was gorgeous and amazing, heated! Looking at the grounds it would be an amazing place to have a wedding or any special event. Loved this hotel very much!”

“We like to stop by here on our way back from the Getty. Public deck area but we never sit there. I love the feel of the soft sand. Bathroom at the gas station have to cross the streets a few time. Loved the proximity to the grocery store”

“We felt very at home here. The staff are great once you get to know them, and the free breakfast is great (oatmeal, pancake mix, bread, etc. And free coffee all day). Fridays is free spaghetti night. There was enough food in the free food sections that we only went to the shops once. The location is a little out of the way, but relaxing (pick up a metro pass and you can get to the city centre) only downside is no toilets in the main reception block, and the wifi only reaches some dorms”

“We stayed here with a group of 15 for a Malibu wedding. The property was exactly what we needed. There were more than enough beds such that no-one had to share. There were 5 or 6 bathrooms so we were all able to get ready at the same time, plenty of sheets/towels, and Monic and Shae provided rules and tips beforehand and via (convenient) texting. Highlight of the property is definitely the pool and large living / dining / kitchen area, both with EXPANSIVE views. Cellular reception in the mountains is spotty, but the fast WiFi worked great. The property has some unique characteristics that make it a treasure to explore - but if you are looking for a modern high-brow mansion this probably isn't it. The property is surrounded by amazing hiking / running trails for outdoor adventures. Loved our time here, and will definitely reach out to Monic and Shae if we get the chance to come back to Malibu anytime soon.”

“Best spot ever!!! At night there are soo many lights and stars. Seen the Milky Way diagonally across the entire sky one summer night.. Pretty unreal sunsets. Some crazy green Beatles come through sometimes at night... Hopefully they open this soon for drivers,the hike in is pretty long.. a lot of people pass through here also as the hit PCT journey...”

“This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The room was a bit small however it's amenities made up for it. The room had a beautiful jacuzzi tub fit for at least two as well as a very large shower in the bathroom area. When you turn the lights off in the room there is a light switch that turns on a row of very subtle lights up above that change colors. There is a very nice restaurant on site and the surrounding area has lots of stores with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. This hotel was quiet, the staff was friendly and the price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be staying here again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the San Pedro area!”

“I have lived here for five years, and truly believe that I feel more blessed to live here than ANYONE else... Yes, it's inconvenient dealing with the recent improvements going on here. But I'm looking forward to the ultimate rewards when complete... The immediate park management employees are all dependable, reasonable, friendly, and extremely fair while dealing with the multitude of problems and complaints they all are presented with on a daily basis... This community is unique, and you cannot please everyone, but I believe that the majority of residents here are optimistic and excited about the renovations to the park, and are generally willing to roll with it..... we are pretty lucky to live here.”
