“Love this beautiful little gem. The garden is a wonderful little paradise in la county with trails under tall oaks, beside magnolia blossoms, inside a rose garden, lilacs in the Spring. We are members and locals now, but started coming to the BioTrek Ethnobotany Garden years ago when we lived 25 miles away in BioTrek Ethnobotany Garden. Definitely worth a visit.”

If I was going by myself, I would have no clue where I was going. The views of the bay are breathtaking.”

“Probably the best park I have been to. You can spend hours here there is so much to do and see here. Such beautiful landscape and areas. There is a trolley that can take you around if you wait at the station. Huge huge park probably over 20+ miles of park land. Great tourist spot & the locals love it to run and have picnics. Some parts of the park you need to pay to see like their japanese garden.”

“We have a "Thoughtful Walking" group that meets each Tuesday morning at Manhattan Beach Botanical Garden from 10 am - 11 am. We have gotten to know many of the volunteers at the ticket window. They are always very nice, and accommodating. One of the joys of walking the gardens each week is to watch the seasons as they change the garden from week to week. The group which sometimes reaches 15 people never grows weary of the gardens as nature seems to always become our teacher, and inspiration. Fantastic spot.”

“It's very very nice. The turf is well tended and kept clean. The paint is continuously repainted and the goal post are very nice. However, it's very small and the water fountains are very faulty. Lacking good hygiene and proper maintenance as the fountain tends to not work.”

“This park is a hidden gem. It's quiet and ideal for socially distanced outdoor activities. There's many sport courts: tennis, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball. There's also a playground, horse arenas, picnic areas, clean restrooms, little free community library, and much more. This peaceful park gives access to charming hiking and horse riding trails. The lawns are very well kept.”

“Many options for anyone as a tourist, as a local strolling by just want to be out, or as a cyclist. There are plenty of activities to do for any level. On a cool or sunny day, you will feel the nature and the peace in your surrounding when you explore or get away from the traffic. I will never get bored coming here. I can walk and take more pictures just snapping them away. It is connected to the Light House Park and you can walk the Bridge to the Maya hotel. Or you can walk over and stop by The Catalina Landing. all day activities.”
