“Great park! This is the free side, but it still great. There's a kids park, duck pond, a stage, soccer fields, and a bunch of other stuff. We came for the Children's Day event on 4/28/19 and it was a great afternoon for the family. We will definitely be back soon to feed the ducks.”

“It's pretty much a typical park in Jacksonville but this one is kept clean. They have a small baseball field, tennis courts basketball courts and a new playground and a small walking track. There's also a building that holds monthly meetings. The city owns it, and they keep it cut for the most part. They could keep up the baseball field a bit better.”

“This small stretch of sand is a very busy one. Don't come here if you are looking for a quite place to relax. Do come here to people watch and enjoy the beach. Make sure to be mindful as you walk around because there are plenty of people on bikes and scooters. They seam to think they own the walkway, but the should be on the bike path.”

“Such a beautiful place to be immersed in nature. Great trail options so u can opt for shorter or longer walks if you are with people(or kids or elderly) that need smaller distances. I can't believe that was my first time. It's one of those hidden gems that not many people even know about. But it's a definite "must do" if you need some nature therapy! Will definitely be back and packing some water so i can roam in there more hours. Turtles, ducks, birds, squirrels, lizards, trees, water.. yes please!????”

“wow i couldn't believe how many birds i saw in the short while i was there. The park was closing by the time i arrived, but the nice fellow let me walk real quick to view it. I definitely have to come back when it opens. Every first Saturday of the month 8am to 12pm. I spotted at many species of birds in the 5 or so minutes i walked threw. MUST SEE PLACE !! see you this the first Saturday in June of 2016 =) ill be there at opening time photographing the nature of this park for a couple hours at least.”

“So the actual park is the smallest thing ever. There is a plaque congratulating themselves on the designation and saving of the land for it. Honestly there is about 20 feet of actual grass and a couple of trees here. The shopping district I the other hand is nice and has a bunch of wonderfully nifty shops.”
