“Overall is a great hike. It’s a 5 mile round trip with medium to low level of difficulty. This hidden gem is a great place for families to explore Los Angeles Forest. Also, I recommend to go after a rainy day because the water fall is bigger and the trail less dusty. Take plenty of water, snacks, and start the adventure.”

“Nice park. Plenty of tables. Trails and even an outdoor church. WHY do they allow homeless to stay and trash this wonderful park ??? They need trash cans along the trails. Hopefully that would reduce the trash in the water.”
Address: Muir Peak Rd, Mt Lowe Rd, Altadena, CA 91001, USA
“I love hiking Mount Lowe and do so weekly-biweekly. Depending on how late in the day you start you’ll definitely run into some stop and go traffic. For those who dont mind getting down on all four, id recommend Cobb Estate to Mount Echo to Inspiration point to Mount Lowe . In between Inspiration and Lowe is when you’ll need all four. I minus 1 star because there’s always a lot of trash i pick up along the way. I always come with small/medium trash bags and end up filling at LEAST one bag.”
Address: Strawberry Saddle Trail, Palmdale, CA 93550, USA
“Short and flat trail connects Josephine saddle with strawberry saddle. The west part is along the ridge where you can see north and south side. East part bypass the ridge and it’s mostly under shadows with lots of flowers along the way. It’s very comfortable to walk.”
Address: Colby Cyn Trail, Palmdale, CA 93550, USA
“The trailhead is a little difficult to find with lots of snow. Just try to follow the footprints. And make sure you should go up along the ridge and you should be fine. To summit strawberry peak is nearly impossible because it’s difficult to find the right way with snow and bushes.”

“Nice Backpacking trip. We took about 30 Scouts and adults. There was water in the stream when we where there (late January 2020) and the pit toilets were open. Large space, there was another Scout Troop there of about 20 and plenty of camp space for everyone. There is NOT a bear vault bring your own. If there is water in the stream make sure you filter it. (other reviews said there was not water in the stream).”

“A beautifully landscaped, historic garden (check out the luscious, tiled fountain) encourages strolling and family photographs. Across the way is a sport field with an active amateur baseball presence on weekend mornings. Both sides of the park have well-maintained public restrooms. Picnic areas. Across from Misión San Fernando.”

Address: 20357 Studebaker Rd, Lakewood, CA 90713, USA
“Great park and a great community of pet owners that gather here! Every once in a while you'll spot a new dog/owner that is a little hesitant or not socially comfortable, but all in all, great place to bring your dog. Really appreciate that in the fall/winter, even though it gets dark at 4:30pm you can still bring your dog after work and have a group of dogs still playing around. This helps our pup still get the exercise and social time he needs. The large dog play area is lit with 2 lamps, but the small dog play area is pretty dark, so bring a flashlight. It gets pretty full sometimes, so if you are hoping to sit, it might be best to carry a camping chair in your car just in case there are no open benches. I'd say that 95% of pet parents pick up after their dog, so it is rare that you step on poop, but hey it has happened...”
