“Located in a small shopping center, the parking is limited. There is a service window to purchase goods after hours. Once inside you walk a few paces and are greeted by the friendly ladies behind the counter. The menu is located on the back and it is vast. There are many options and you can't go wrong with so much deliciousness. There is some seating available. They don't call it yum yum for no reason. Some regulars do not make a fuss they order they wait 10-15 minutes they leave. Others even though they have been regular customers for years always fuss about irrelevant stuff particularly wanting extras on the order w/o wanting to pay more and not realizing that prices will change w/o notice. There are some people who need to be on a podcast to explain their entitled behavior”

“We order from Miguel weekly and the tacos are AWESOME! It’s the go-to Taco Stand in the North SF Valley. The carne asada meat is seasoned so well and has a deep, almost smokey flavor. They have great quesadillas and burritos and they also sell rice and Peruvian style water beans that are delicious. Always super kind and fast - I call or text the order ahead and pay ahead and it is so super easy to pick up. “Neighborhood make-your-own poke spot in Diamond Bar. They’re open during covid for walk-ins and you can order takeout ahead of time online. We got 3 scoop bowls and they make for a filling but not heavy lunch. FYI - the spicy tuna is a paste. The house spicy sauce is a good call, and I really liked the variety of toppings (including the corn and the crab meat). The fish tasted a little cold, as though it was just defrosted, but it’s fine. They gave us two small free miso soups which was a pleasant surprise. They do have ice cream macaron sandwiches along with other entree options. They do accept credit cards and no free WiFi. Parking is tight as the lot is pretty small. Currently there’s no dine-in. Overall, it’s a good spot to grab some poke and don’t want to drive too far when you’re in the neighborhood.”

Also, very surprised that the (kinda pricey) fries were perfect. Best french fries I've gotten in a loooong time. Perfectly crispy outside, soft inside, and salted just right that they are flavorful but don't taste "salty". The smallest size is 8 pieces, which doesn't seem like too much but they're good sized pieces so be prepared to eat or have leftovers with any sized order!”

One thing I love about LA is how many amazing restaurants there are. Burgers are common on a lot of menus but you can also find many places like For The Win where they specialize in classic burgers. The char on the smash burgers was perfect. The addition of their homemade fry sauce gives it a nice flavor and it is served on a fresh potato bun. I love pickles on burgers and they toss a few in. The fries are thin and crispy. Like I've said in other reviews, I love all fries and when they are well made it makes it even tastier. Places that make their own sauces are awesome. I love to dip my fries so I grabbed the sauces. I admit the chicken sandwich on the menu was very intriguing but I wasn't there for the chicken. I will make a return trip to check it out. Parking is easy enough but be forewarned it's right at a popular freeway entrance so be mindful of how you approach their parking lot.”
