“This Laundromat is awesome!! I have gone long and far in the La Mirada and neighboring cities to find a clean, modern and safe laundromat to be able to bring my families clothing and mine to wash twice a week to and I must say this is the top choice on my list, by far. After searching the area in the past 2 years I haven’t found a comparable laundromat that comes close to this one. Not only are all the machines well kept every time I’ve shown up but also I noticed that the dryer filters are always cleaned by the staff and other customers that attend the laundromat regularly as well. In my opinion that goes a long way to show that others like me that come here to take care of their laundry needs appreciate and care for the business the way that the staff does. Also a great plus side to this laundromat: there is a 7/11, Mobil gas station, pep boys (for all the car fanatics), a candy store, teriyaki food, su his restaurant and barber shop all within the same shopping center! A good way to spend time while your clothes are being taken care of in the laundromat”

“Lance and his team are amazing at what they do. Their painting is unmatched and he is a perfectionist. Lance not only cares how your home, or office, turns out; he cares about his clients. He spends lots of time going over things with you and making sure you are 100% satisfied. We used Lance to paint our homes and for my business. He is the best residential painter on the westside and South Bay. He is way better than the commercial painter hired by my landlord that painted my office to "prep." Lance, in fact, had to fix the previous painter's mistakes, came back to ensure things were perfect, and is worth well more than he charges. You won't find a better house painter (or commercial painter). You can definitely trust he will deliver the results you want and exceed your expectations. Any professional like realtors, stagers, small business owners, would be better off knowing him and hiring for fixing up your space.”

“The GAIN program is a great program if you do as you are told. The tax payers are very generous to fund an agency that pays for college, books, and fees. Of course, you have to do certain things to stay compliant with the program. The rules are in place to ensure your success. As with any Government office, some workers are component and some are not. If you have a worker who is not serving your needs, talk to a supervisor.”

“You can call ahead of time so your order will be ready when you're there, since sometimes it gets busy. We ordered 3 birria popusas and one chicharon con queso. When I asked for the total, they stated they would tell me in person. The place is located in the convince store. I'm the back. Once you get there, they give you a number to take to the store cashier. We headed there, and our total for 4 popusas (3 with birria on it) was $22. I will that did catch me off guard and was definitely more than I expectedly. We went back to give them our receipt, and they handed our order right away. I will say they do give a large amount of birria on the popusas. The popusas only have cheese, but I will say they really stuffed it with cheese. Overall, all it was tasted, and I could see why they charged a bit higher for them. Would recommend you checking them out. They do have two small table for those that want to eat there. P.S. I asked about their birria pizza, and they said a medium is $30 and a large was $31 dollars.”

They are so kind and care for the patient's here with real love and compassion that's genuine and real! They are one of the only reasons I haven't left here! I have no family anymore as my wife of 30 yrs passed away from breast cancer in 2018! I have been alone and homeless for some time now, but, they together have made me feel like I still have value in this world 🌎 I have not seen such kindness since my wife's passing! I think it's time they both receive a well deserved raise and a sincere thank you for all their support and genuine care they give so selfless every day I've been here! It's not easy to do the job they do and I for One think they should definitely be rewarded for all the care they give on a day to day basis! “Wish I would have got the guys name but the gentleman working the Night Shift on the 11th of July was amazing! Super nice and even let us get into the pool for an hour or so even though it was closed. Rooms are very clean and nice homey feeling. It was pretty quiet and even when there were distracting patrons with loud music the staff was quick to get them to be quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.”

“Can't thank Frank enough. Right off the bat he seemed like a stand up guy and someone that stood behind his work. I gave him my mazda miata to change the convertible top. It came out great, however, there was a piece from the manufacturer that went missing and I needed to take it back to him to fix it. He literally spent 2 weeks searching for this part and when he realized he wasn't going to find it, he actually took the time to fabricate the part himself and fixed it. He didn't even charge after all that extra work. It is refreshing to know that there are business owners like this out there and it was a lesson to myself on how to treat customers in my own business. Thanks Frank!”

“I just finished my LVN program in this school and now licensed in two different states. Indeed, nursing school was very challenging. However, the staff and faculty did their best to help it become a little more manageable. The teachers are very well-versed with the topics they teach, and they only not teach you lessons from the books, but also "tips and tricks" you can use in real life settings as well. The DON is really hard-working. She tried to cater everyone's schedule, and was always reaching out to clinical sites to be able to provide us the best clinical experience possible. Mrs. Jackson, is always there, almost 24/7 ready to help you whenever help is needed. Whenever, we do reach out and voice out our concerns, she doesn't take them personally and always sees things in an objective manner, trying to help you get to a solution to whatever it may be, as long as it's within reason. She became a confidant as well. Along the way, mental breakdowns, and feeling very defeated are common things you experience during nursing school, and she became the person you can go to to express these, and reassure you that you should always give yourself some grace. She still is the voice inside my head telling me things I need to do whenever I need things to get done up to now. The clinical instructors, mainly Mr. T and Ms. Patricia are very helpful as well. They made sure we learn the most we can from the clinical sites that were provided for us. They are very articulate, professional and had the best communication skills that made the relationships with the people we work with in our sites be smoother. With that, trust was built, and most of the facilities we go to teach and let us be exposed to most of the patients where we learned more about real-life, on the job instances. Clinical sites were all different, depending on what caters to your schedule, and they make it to a point everyone experience all types of clinical settings you may be getting a job, soon after graduation. It's mostly long term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post acute facilities, but there are also outpatient clinics like Facey Providence and Kaiser Permanente where we experienced being in settings namely Urgent Care, Emergency Care, and specialty offices like internal medicines, Peds and OB. Every time I try to share my stories on how I experienced my clinicals to other people, they are very surprised, telling me that their clinicals from their school was not the same. And, for that I am very thankful. I really appreciate all the pieces of experience this school has given me, and I do recommend this school.”
