“Great trails for social rides, and areas for hiking, camping, nature walks. More technical riding available for those in need of something more challenging than the calm loop. Make sure to support FoCC to keep this great park open and cared for!”

“Loved this place. Tons of wildlife. Nicest hosts. Just a tip though... Do not cook near or after dark. The raccoons are pesky and persistent.”

“We had such a lovely time here. Plenty of peace and quiet. The only troublemakers were the rascally raccoons. The hosts are nice, the place was clean and equipped well. -1 star for only cold coin operated showers. Not upset about paying for the shower, only that it was icy. All things considered it was a great campground and I'd love to return. We enjoyed the area but be prepared to drive to the beach and attractions.”

“We wanted a nice place to hike and it was a great hike from the ranger station to the ridge trail and back. The views of the bay were magnificent. There were also a lot of mountain-trail bikers.”

You can see the calm waters and surrounding hills view. it had limit parking space for a fare of $5. Park open from 8AM to Sunset(in summer). If you are near and around San Rafael then this is one of the most visiting place.”

“What a beautiful beach! In the shallow water you can watch little crabs doing their funny crab business or you can just walk around and take a look at all these odd shaped little rocks. At one point you will be convinced they all have little faces. :-) We also watched a beautiful sunset at Agate Beach and it felt almost magical.”
Address: Unnamed Road, Bolinas, CA 94924, USA
“Bolinas Beach is great to learn how to surf. If you go to the right that is called the patch and if you go to the left that is called the jetty. If you want to get on the beach try and get there a little bit before low tide. If you go at high tide you can get smashed against the sea wall if going yo the jetty.”

“Great local park - a real hidden gem unless you live right in the neighborhood, then you should be here all the time! Big grassy field, playground for the kids, picnic tables, benches and tennis courts ... what more could you need? Pretty good balance between kids playing morning and afternoon, by 4 or so it definitely becomes a dog park - that whole 'dogs on leash' thing is more of a slogan than a rule that gets followed ;) Great gathering place to get to know a few neighbors. Project is underway by the Peacock Gap HOA to replace the benches and tables (it's a city park, but money is tight and there are other priorities) - come on down and enjoy! (I'll see you there after 4pm with my pups)”

Address: 100 China Camp Village Rd, San Rafael, CA 94901, USA
“Awesome. Natural beauty. Historic and cultural lessons to be learned. Many outdoor activities for all. We miss Frank Quan, who, as a member of the Chinese working fishing village that once was here, Frank went off to serve this country in WW2. Frank came "home" to this spot and never left. Being the only person to have been given status as "part of" a designated Historic Site, Frank happily remained here for the duration of his lifetime. (RIP, dear Frank.) Enjoy all that China Camp has to offer you! A great spot!”
