“This place is great for groups that have reservations. It is quiet and beautiful. Located near the top of a mountain with a lake and stream running through the property. The cabins a fair with hot water and electricity. Cell phone reception is very poor with Verizon being the beat, you have to wakk around to find service.”

“Great park to hike! Hills are challenging and once you get to the top (not even a mile) there are fantastic views. I took my children and we found a wonderful tree to play under, complete with a swing. I could easily spend every day at this park, it's beautiful!”

“Great little park to make you forget you're still in a city. River access, however, if the Caterpillars are spawning, look our for raining babies onto a dirt floor of garden spiders waiting to feast. Great place for the kids to learn about the circle of life.”

“This is a lovely treat that Wine Country gives us. Beautiful scenery over looking Napa. I really enjoyed myself out there. I most definitely recommend this park for all of your outdoor adventures. “Some trails are overgrown and if you plan on bringing your dog, be prepared to deal with fox tails. The layout feels great to navigate. Several outer and inner loops. There is an on leash loop with plenty of trails and intermediate shade. The off leash area lacks shade but is loaded with plenty of friendly dogs.”

“Dog parks are such a great place to meet nice people. By their self selecting nature, people in dog parks seem to be people who have sometime somewhere wavered from boringness and decided that a dog is worth the bother. The commons has a side for smaller dogs and larger. My observation in our couple of times there is that I might need new glasses but how social they were was more of a deciding factor than size. Pleasant place”

“Absolutely love this place. So much green space that extends backwards surrounded by fence. This park has a legendary rope and seat attached to a rail and you can hang on and swing it all the way down and it goes up a little inclide and turns around and pulls you the other way. The slides and virtually all the playground is protected with squishy foam for kids.”

“Nice grassy neighborhood park with walking paths and a couple small but popular playground areas. During big winter storms, the park collects storm drain water and floods into a lake, hence the name.”

“Hidden gem of a park/hiking trails. Parking is easy; small lot at the bottom and usually plenty of street parking. You can bring dogs if they are on leash. At the top you can branch off onto several other trails and there are benches along the way to rest (no running water so bring your own). Both mountains have beautiful views of the Napa valley and surrounding areas. You can spot lots of wildlife like turkey vultures, lizards, etc. This is a great place to come for a short 30 minute hike or half day hike if you want to explore the whole place.”
