The BBQ sauce was tangy and was a perfect choice to smother the chicken in. Service: The staff was friendly and helped me choose my items. Place was also clean. Final word. I got the 3 piece meal for $15...but it does not include a drink. Should though for $15.”

“This was at the Shoreline Kennel Club yearly dog show. This dog is a Standard Schnauzer. And at the time of this photo is the Number 1 Standard Schnauzer in the Nation!! FYI, this breed is NOT just a larger Mini Schnauzer. The Standard Schnauzer comes from different ancestors and is considered an entirely different breed from the Mini Schnauzer. The Standard Schnauzer is a working dog. The Mini Schnauzer is a terrier.”

“We have been hearing about this place and wanted to try something new so as pizza lovers we found ourselves venturing out and supporting a new local small business. They have been open since Feb 2023. I got the sausage and peppers calzone and mh husband the one with the mushrooms. The one with the mushrooms was very very salty but mine was very very good. Meatballs were the highlight of our meal. We both did combos that included a calzone, side and soda for about $13. Only downside is the pla e smelled overwhelming of cleaning products. I wish I could have smelled more of the cooking to really enhance the experience.”

“Best complex in CM. Anyone saying otherwise likely damaged their apartment and lost their deposit. The staff and maintenance are phenomenal. Sure they were built a while ago but they are kept in better condition than most new apartments. Their landscaping is better than any complex I have seen in CM and they are always improving.”

“Newport Palms has just recently taken over from Camden Sea Palms. So far, so good. They have already started painting the entire building as well as fixing old railings that were unsafe. The new paint, a bright white, is really cheering up the place!! They even had a little "meet-and-greet" with tacos, sodas and beers. It was really nice. The interaction that I have had with the property managers has been great. Very nice, professional and helpful!”

“Since I broke my foot a few weeks ago. Stopped by here to get my lotto tickets and a couple of snacks, twice in two weeks. Takes out the hassle of using those dang crutches just to get lotto a bottle of water and a bag of chili cheese fritos (Sure Dr., Nothing but leafy greens and Salmon to help heal me up, cough cough and a bag of Fritos). I think even when my foot is healed, I may support this place for my lotto, water, milk and snacks from time to time. You pay a little more but you should get charged a bit more for full service as well as being a lazy a$$.”

“New favorite izakaya in OC. Hondaya was our go to but I feel like lately we had been unimpressed and the wait is always so long. Takaya requires reservations (no walk-ins) but we called the day of and got a reservation for an hour later. This was a Thursday so maybe it’s harder to get reservations on the weekend. Everything we ate was amazing, the service was great and the pacing of all the dishes made sense.”

The food is delicious, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I have been here several times now and I have never been disappointed. The food is all vegan and Ayurvedic, which means it is both healthy and delicious. I have tried a variety of dishes and they have all been great. My favorites right now is the Kitchari. You are supposed to eat Kitchari after finishing the Panchakarma Cleanse. So I have been indulging on this and can’t wait to try everything else in a few days after I am fully done with my cleanse. “I completed the teacher certification program at Vanguard University and was really impressed by the school. They genuinely care about their students and invest in them, much more than at any of the “big name” schools I’ve attended in my academic career. The professors were excellent, and Bill Hughes at the administrative office was and continues to be a big help whenever I need it. The certification program itself was straightforward and provided excellent training for me as a future educator. I continue to refer back the toolkit of techniques and pedagogical skills I acquired at Vanguard. My experience with Vanguard was limited to the teacher certification program, so I can’t speak for the undergraduate or graduate programs they provide, but my guess is that they would likewise be a good experience.”
