“I’m generally not one to write testimonials or give reviews, however I was so impressed by Mariella and her team of professionals that I couldn’t help but feel compelled to write this. I recently decided it was time to sell my marital home after my divorce. I decided I would try to sell it on my own so I advertised on Zillow. I received offers that were not that impressive. I found that because you are selling by owner, people and agents will attempt to take advantage of writing in terms and conditions and offering less than fair market value. Subsequently, Mariella contacted me and luckily, I agreed to meet with her at my home. Meanwhile, I received a plethora of calls and advertisements from different realtors, however given the complexity of the proposed sale due to ongoing separation disputes I decided to go with Mariella. In the market with limited inventory, I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to get a replacement home to move to. Mariella reassured me that she would negotiate terms favorable to have enough time to find a home even in a very difficult market and make the move. Mariella is a very knowledgeable and experienced agent, skilled negotiator, fair and accommodating. Just like she said, within 9 days she had several offers. She skillfully advised me how I should counter 4 offers and negotiated extremely favorable terms, which was very impressive not to mention 40K above ask price plus, sizable rent back to be able to take my time to move at ZERO cost to me. I was so concerned about finding a suitable replacement home in the area I wanted to be in because inventory was limited and the competition was fierce. However within 2 days of signing the agreement on my home, Mariella made appointments to show me some homes in my desired area. Within the first showing appointment, we found a home that I was happy with. However, I was a bit uneasy given the market. After speaking to the seller’s agent, Mariella advised me on the offer I should make. Even though we were up against other offers, we were in escrow on my new home at an offer price below sellers asking and during the process of sale, Mariella again skillfully negotiated me a sizable credit! As if the above weren’t enough, Mariella went above and beyond every step of the way (i.e. making arrangement for repairs, exchange of personal property with my ex, and other things such as meet with my estranged ex to go over get her to sign and notarize necessary documents and giving me great referrals to professionals). I’m so grateful I met with Mariella and chose her and her team to assist me with the sale of my home as well as finding my new home. It couldn’t have been any better.
