(March 30, 2018, 8:13 pm)The public access tunnel provides access to the Crystal Cove beach and to the Historic District from the parking lot Los Trancos.
The tunnel passes under the Pacific Coast Highway and is a nice alternative to taking the shuttle.
The tunnel is well maintained and well lit.
Paintings made by local volunteers/students cover the inner walls of the tunnel.
The echo inside the tunnel is quite interesting and may make for great sound experiments.
