“I got saved in June 1989. I had been in California for one day I got saved playing the board game Risk that was on a Friday on that Sunday I got baptised. That Sunday by Pastor Joe. I love this church. I went to church everytime it was open. I volunteered for everything. Went for at least a year became a salesman for a Christian company. I traveled home to Chicago for my grand mother's funeral. I desided to move back to Chicago to marry my ex girl friend. I realized after that first year I had to get married well I moved back and 7 months later I married a completely different lady I was 21 and she was 33 from the outside it didn't look like a good fit.z Her husband died several years before. Well she got saved in her kitchen with me and she was a friend of my aunts. God had a plan I needed to get married because temptation was unbelievable. We have been married for 32 years. We had 2 kids. My life has been better a miracle I had an 8 the grade education. I built a company in 47 months I employed about 79 people I started the company with six thousand dollars I sold the business for over a million dollars 47 months later.Hiw only God could have doith e is unbelievable. Pastor Joe gave me a good foundation and a code to live by with rules and making decisions based on right and wrong. God put Pastor Joe in Son light to changed my thinking and to be an example of how 8 am supposed to carry myself. He didn't know it but I studied him from a distant. He knew what he knew and that was the deal God is not open for debate. I returned about 7 or 8 years ago and went to a mens Bible study. I talked to pastor Joe and he didn't remember me. I look so much different if I had a picture from 1989 he would have said i remember. It's great that everyone always loud and brash. So the fact I was so well behaved I never made a scene. They are the first one who noticed and worried about the pins. No accident ever happened for few years with the pins but because they concerned, I decided to respect their request and removed it. “My wife and I were walking around Downtown Orange. We have gone to The Pie Hole before, but we have gotten their savory pies. We just had lunch, and we were interested in some dessert. I had the Mexican Chocolate Pie with the espresso topping, and my wife had the Apple Crumble Pie. Both tasted excellent. My slice was definitely very thick. I had no issues with the taste of either pie, but I thought $7.00 a slice was too expensive for the size of it. It is still worth visiting again when I am in Downtown Orange.”

“One of the best places to get coffee in the orange circle is Sweet Art Cafe. I personally prefer the regular lattes instead of the flavors. I think the espresso can stand on its own. The sweets are hand made and baked fresh daily. My personal favorite are the scones but daughter loves the Macarons and my wife loves the cheese rolls. Now if you aren’t in the mood for coffee the teas are fresh and delicious.”

I usually frequent Bruxies which is a few doors down, so when I had friend's visiting from Hawaii who wanted to check out vintage/thrift shops, I knew to bring them here. The prices are surprisingly affordable and the place is very nice. The upkeep of this store is phenomenal. I have been in stores before where there were things everywhere, but not this place... its very nice and neat. The customer service was exceptional and the lady at the register who helped us was very friendly and informative. They have a great selection of clothing, jewelry, house goods and also mens clothing as well.”

“Three times we've come here and it never disappoints. As much as we like trying new places, we also like eating satisfying food and this is where it lives. It's always busy, but the wait times have never been more than 20-30 minutes even when it seems there are lots of people waiting. We've only sat inside each time, so if you do, expect it to be loud and busy, but not overbearing. Their is ample outside seating, shade from the canopies, and they're pet friendly. The entire staff is friendly and always willing to assist, and the cooks always deliver the best grub. We recommend avocado fries, sausage and bacon omelette, impossible burger, cobb salad, and onion rings, but maybe not all at once.”

It doesn't look like much from the street but once you get inside this restaurant is special. All the staff here are incredibly friendly and really try to make your meal as amazing as possible. As for the food, this place makes me happy to get out of my comfort zone. I've tried things here I wouldn't normally try and everything has been amazing so far. This really has become my favorite restaurant. Everything is so good and they give you so much for your money which is rare these days. I've been to a lot of Mediterranean restaurants recently and this really is the top for me. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.”

“We all enjoyed our food here. The bean dip was really good. The Pastor tacos had lots of flavor. The green chili enchiladas (one shredded beef, one shrimp) were ok. The beef had very little flavor and the shrimp had really good flavor. My only issue is there wasn't enough sauce on them.”
