The view is amazing ! You can see Catalina island and gorgeous ocean views. The meetup sunrise to sunset hikers often have hikes here. Check out their meetup schedule. It has a kids playground with a view of the ocean. You can see the boats on the way to Long Beach and understand the delays of the supply chain. Thank goodness that’s getting better. Canyon View Park

Address: San Clemente, CA 92672, USA

Park

“This has to be one of the best places to park and watch the sunset. Can't say the people who live in the multimillion dollar homes like it so much to watch people walking the trails or what not. But the house's actually make it that much more beautiful to see. The park is actually opened to the public because of the nature trails leading to the end of the cliff where your able to see all of San Clemente. It has tables along with a BBQ that too is open to the public. The grounds are very well maintained and it's very peaceful and surreal there. It's open at 6:00am and closed at 10:00pm just like all the parks a round here. I usually come round 6pm it's quitter round then and the people who you do meet are actually very nice and friendly. If you love sunsets and fresh air. This is the place to be.”

But the neighborhood Karen helped me realize my mistake and even took my picture to make sure I didn’t make that mistake again.
