“You can find me out here on my bike more often than not on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It's a fun network of trails and one of the great things about living in Fullerton.”

“Great place to park if you are trying to bike or run Back Bay Loop and parking on the street is packed. A short block away from the trail start and there is a restroom there!”

“I've been taking my dog(s) to parks for over 7 years this park is in my top 10, just unbelievable beauty, especially now with Spring turning the hills green. There is so much bird wildlife I just sit back and try and mimic the sounds the variety of species there make, everything is alive there and if you want a peaceful, tranquil place to collect your thoughts it's definitely a great choice. Taken some great pics of my dogs just loving life and blessed to have parks like this in my neighborhood.”

“Really fun place to take the kids. There is a scavenger hunt kids have fun looking for the animals, it's all set up right there at the playground. The only negative thing about this park is the only shade to sit in has no bench, and the only place to sit on a bench is in the full sun. We all know in the middle of the day in the summer, that can be a brutal place to sit. If you remember to bring a couple lounge chairs and a blanket and sit in the shade you will have a really enjoyable time.”

“Love our old park, from Kinder through 6th and remembering the after school soccer games thanks to a mom who cared about the kids being active and just having fun! We miss her & her family, she moved out of state. Those were great times. My younger kids are in high school now, the oldest graduated VHS 2 years ago this June. Great hills and small creek from water drains, great sand area, nice neighborhood where all neighbors watching over all kids and families who visit our park. Friends all live near by streets surrounding our park, please help keep it clean.”

“This is the perfect creek for playing. Safe for toddlers and fun for older kids. It's a gorgeous, unique setting with beautiful shale and 'concretions' (huge, round rocks) throughout the water. Natural play areas all throughout. Also, beautiful, shaded walking trails.”

“A nice little park, next to school, so parking and noise is typical. A couple benches to sit on throughout the park. Trees were huge and beautiful until they removed them and replaced them with saplings. There is a small picnic area with a few picnic benches and disconnected water fountain. Play area jungle gym for kids with padded flooring. Trash tends to be overflowing due to parties. No street sign, was cracked, then removed last year.”

“Very nice park. Has a cool kids play area, some exercise/workout stations, and a resource facility where they conduct indoor events. It looks well kept for the most part. Only bad thing I would complain about is the public parking. There is barely any. Not even street parking! Thats kinda weird (to me). But I'll still give it 5 stars.”

“A great open park for those who just want to lounge away from the city. There are various spots that offer shade from the harsh summer sun. The lawns are very well kept, so you can lie down comfortably with or without a picnic mat.”

“I had always heard of this park but never got the chance to check it out until last weekend for a friend's child's birthday party. The park is huge with so much space for people to spread out, and also very clean. I loved walking around the ponds seeing the ducks and small waterfalls.”

“Beautiful park! Love the huge eucalyptus trees and green pathways. Nice tennis courts, fitness equipment, and play structure.”

“One of several campgrounds in Casper Wilderness Park, Ortega Flats is the closest one to the highway, and accordingly you’ll hear a decent amount of road noise here. Sites have electricity and water hookups, and restrooms are of the porta-potty variety. Not a perfect campground, but with only about a dozen sites, you won’t feel too crammed in.”
Address: 840 Camino De Los Mares, San Clemente, CA 92673, USA
“Just spent two weeks here in site #48. Great view of the lake from my site, which had nice shade. I have stayed here before in some of the more crowded areas, but this loop was the best. The sites are not close together and it was even quiet on the weekends. Had 3 5G bars most of the time. Park is beautifully maintained. Tip: dump station near entrance is on a slant, so go to the one on the far side of the campground. It’s level and a breeze to use.”
