“This is a great stop on the Coast Highway. My wife and I shared a sandwich and a salad and thoroughly enjoyed each. The sandwich had a sauce on it which I forget what it is now but made it really good and the salad was full of good stuff and fresh. Weather was perfect and it came out in a timely manner. “First time to this place and it didn't let me down. Taken on the recommendation of an acquaintance it is an upscale (atmosphere and presentation) Mexican fare restaurant. The one thing that is not upscale is the price. Plates were in the 20+ dollar range but were delivered as if they were $40. The atmosphere was great and the service was even better. One of the few times my drinks were replaced before they were empty and never had to ask. The waitress new her job and performed it very well. The salsa was great with a garlic flair as was the homemade guac. The corn chowder was rich and flavorful though it would be nice to have some more texture to it. I have the tequila fired shrimp. They were delicious. It was topped over a bed of what appeared to be lightly cooked squash and stuff with a cream sauce. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. Not usually mentioned in a review is the restroom which was clean and tidy. The art on the walls is great (see pics) and it is easy to feel at home here. The volume will increase during key meal times so it is not a place for quiet repose. Well done Luna!👏”
