(July 31, 2018, 12:55 pm)Hiking trails and dog park. We can see the view from Balboa park. Tennis court is there as well. Florida Canyon is mostly natural habitats, which we can observe and learn.

(May 30, 2016, 3:07 am)Beautiful hiking trails on the west and east sides of Florida Drive. You can get to the Zoo, Morley Field, Desert Garden, etc. On the west side is a creek and the west side has a large flat area once you climb up the hill toward Pershing.

Florida Canyon - Hidden San Diego
Florida canyon has been well preserved as what San Diego must have looked like hundreds of years ago. Native shrub such as sage-scrub and other chaparral vegetation will be present throughout your hike. Recently, the park was upgraded to appeal for bicyclists as well with ascents and descents and irregular surfaces.
