“I'm a long time surfer who enjoys riding 5'5" fish shapes up to 12' gliders and everything in between. I own many different types of boards and feel that I have a pretty good understanding of what different boards are capable of. I live in Coronado where PJ the owner of Delray Surfboards lives and I have talked to him several times about his unique looking "Super" board that I have seen around. It's a shape and design unlike any other. I personally purchased a 9' version with a quad fin setup. Pointed nose and a wide tail that pulls into a traditional pin and about 23" wide in the middle. It is like nothing I have ever held let a alone surfed. I was a bit unsure of how it would ride but let me tell you this board is magic! I've been riding it for the past few days in waist to head high beach break and overhead Sunset Cliffs. Paddles like a longboard, trims unbelievably when riding the middle part of the board or higher and if you trust dropping your back foot far enough towards the tail the thing turns insane for a 9' board. It really is about as versatile a board as you're going to find. Your wave count will be way up and the fun factor is off the charts. Go get one!”
