Law Street Beach

I grew up here, and have never had a bad time. The access is great, the surfer/swimmer line is clear, and the lifeguards are helpful if there's something to be aware of (but they need better announcement equipment, b/c they're hard to understand even on the sand.)

Parking is a crowded (street parking) but nice spot for beginner surfers. Easy access to beach, has restrooms and showers for rinse offs. Saturday morning yoga spot on hill as well.

I really enjoy this beach. Parking is typically an issue, so be prepared to walk a half mile from your car to the beach. There are low pressure showers available to wash off after and bathrooms located up the hill I used to get to the beach from the street. The beach is separated into swimmer and surfboarding sections and the lifeguards are attentive.

Great spot for free yoga on Saturday mornings. Also best spot to watch surfers. I love watching surfers! What a sport! On the right, in front of Law Street Park, is the less experienced surfers. The more experienced surfers are just to the left of Law Street Park near the pier. I understand the newbies need to stay on the right so the waters stay the safest. Small amount of hiking, breathtaking views, off the 2mile long boardwalk that pretty much starts at Law Street Park and goes south to mission Beach. One can walk the boardwalk or walk in the sand.

Law Street is the place to go with friends and family to relax on the grass and enjoy an incredible conversation with a great view. Group Yoga is held here on Saturdays and Sunday at 10am, an event/sight to not be missed. Over 100 people all doing something together is extremely unique in any circumstance. Pet dogs, make new friend and enjoy the view!
