“I have been a dedicated customer for at least 13 years, even after moving 20 miles away! The pharmacists - particularly Suzanne and Holly - really go above and beyond to research your needs, ensure regularly-dispensed medications are readily on-hand, deliveries are planned and prepared for, and answer any and all questions ASAP (no matter how crazy they are! ). I mean no foul to the other pharmacists by not calling them out by name - I just have gotten to know Suzanne and Holly the best over the years (and Thau, prior to her moving to another Vons pharmacy closer to her home). They and their supporting personnel (a shoutout to Jeremy here, who is awesome!) also happily contact physician offices and insurers to resolve any problems in a quick, professional, and friendly manner, despite how incredibly busy they are (this is a small pharmacy with a smaller staff - in response to another review, yes, they cannot dispense prescriptions during the pharmacist's lunch break if there's only one on duty that day - it's the law). If they don't have something (such as a less common medication they have to special order)? If it's urgent, they've called all over the city to try to find it for you! I really cannot say enough good things about this particular Vons pharmacy and its dedicated, hard-working staff - which is why I continue to use them, even though they're now soooo far away! Fortunately, they also have an terrific, low-cost delivery service (the newer one is FAR better and more reliable than the one used 2018 and earlier), which makes things even easier!! Absolutely adore this pharmacy, it's pharmacists, and its supporting staff. They're really a bit of a hidden gem, in my humble opinion (who gets Rx from the grocery store? I had to retrain myself to do that ). Vons on Murphy Canyon is the closest I've encountered to the "old school" pharmacy in San Diego, where over time the pharmacists get to know you, ask after the kids, proactively check for pharmaceutical conflicts with other prescriptions, etc. A lot of this is personality-driven I suspect (their Head Pharmacist, Suzanne, and Senior Pharmacist, Holly are just pros through and through), but they've also been given a corporate environment in which to deliver this kind of service. All these reasons are why I really go out of my way to fill everything here for myself and my husband. It's a level of service you simply cannot expect from the larger pharmacies 24/7 with their hundreds/thousands of customers that change every week (or even daily). What more can you ask for from your pharmacist?”

“Previously one star by mistake because I thought it was another location. This FedEx is TOP NOTCH. The staff was EXTRENELY HELPFUL. They both helped me print. They told me everything I needed to do it quickly and even gave me suggestions that made the printing so much nicer. I sliced them with the paper cutter they had there. They had exactly what I needed. I just moved and my printer is lost in the mountains of boxes so this was extremely convenient. In the end I got 20 beautiful invitations for about $8.”

Madison was the cashier. She said no problem. Come to find out, it wasn't a possibility. After working things around she was able to do it by doing separate transactions for the last 2 items. She deserves kudos for the work she did to make sure the coupons worked”
