“As far as concept of theme park goes it is one of the good ones that I have visited. They have lots of aquatic animals including killer whale, dolphins, turtles, sharks, penguins sea lions etc etc. You can have interactions with the animals if you pay or can watch the presentation shows that are free with your entry ticket. There are lots of water rides too. Restrooms and eating stalls are packed throughout the campus. It's a perfect one day get away for kids and adults alike.”

“I have a 120 gallon reef tank that Mark maintains. I travel frequently for extended periods of time and know that the fish and corals are in the best of care when I am away. Mark is extremely knowledgeable about aquarium reef keeping and has provided input and expertise regarding equipment, maintenance, fish interactions, and coral care. I can definitely say my reef tank would not be in as excellent of condition without his care and knowledge.”

“Loved it!. It's quite small but still packed with a ton of sea life and information. Staff were very kind and helpful. Spent a good two hours walking and looking around. They had very many interactive games and activities for kids. There were art tables, videos, games, dress up, water and sand tables. I could imagine if I would have brought my nieces and nephews they would have loved it and maybe spent much more time there. Although the activities were primarily for kids there was still a bunch for others. There is a ton of facts and knowledge about the sea life all over the walls. They even have some informative videos playing around in the background. Outside they had the pools with animals you could feel or hold. There's two of them and they switch back and forth throughout the day to give them a break so the life in them doesn't stress to much with all the excitement. The views of the beach and ocean outside are also amazing. We found it to be great for pictures or to just simply enjoy the view.”

“Definitely worth a visit. Most liked the performance killer whales and dolphins. Also liked the aquarium with sharks. Ramps are good too. Seals are great. There are 2 roller coasters - big and small. The spirit captures them. Fun positive place! We must go in clothes that do not mind! At the rides all will be wet. This enhances the effect of riding on water. But it is fun and positive! And when it is hot and almost always hot there, you can dry very quickly. Fun for both kids and adults. We bought tickets via the Internet, so a bit cheaper, plus some separate ticket offices, where they change your printed voucher for a park ticket.”

The one on one excursions are extremely affordable and the animals are so close it's like you can reach out and touch them. Also, there are so many things in the gift shop that are affordable...i wanted to buy everything. Living Coast is doing such a great and important job to preserve our local wildlife! “I have had opportunity to visit numerous aquariums but I must say that this was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. While small, the displays are well organized and the marine life is easy to see. The passport program encourages children to look for the next station needed to stamp their passport and moves them forward to the next exhibit. I have not seen technology used in an aquarium before. The touchscreens allowed my grandchildren ages 10, 6, and 4 to delve deeper and learn more than what their eyes alone could show them. Overall, this was a wonderful experience.”
