“What a fantastic place to see a concert. I've seen both classical and jazz shows here, the most recent being a show last night with 45th Parallel. The space is lovely, warm, welcoming, and obviously historic. Acoustics are good, but that's not what it was originally built for, of course. There's a back meeting area with absolutely gorgeous sliding doors, perfect for a post-event reception. So why four stars and not five? Well, it is historic, and that of course means a couple of rough patches. Understandable given the age, but probably should be mentioned, particularly for guests with challenges. Seating is okay for the first hour or so, but we're talking about older church pews (granted, with cushions) and I've observed that some folks get a little uncomfortable after the first hour. The B&G's Backyard is wheelchair accessible, but the front steps might be a little tricky for older guests. As noted earlier, parking can be a bear in this neighborhood, but it is on the streetcar line and it is easy to find. Truly though, this is nit-picking. A lovely space, and we're so lucky to have it.”

“My daughter has been going to Tenaya’s class for over a year. We appreciate how encouraging and flexible she is! My daughter loves going every week, she’s never once not wanted to go which means a lot considering like most 7 year olds, she is usually done after trying something a few times. You can tell Tenaya really enjoys teaching and works at my child’s pace to encourage her through harder pieces. Definitely worth the investment to have my daughter not only learn an instrument but also build her confidence in trying hard things!”

The owner genuinely cares about each student and what they’re getting out of their lessons. “Accessibility: there are accessible/handicap parking across from the entrance of the building as well as pick up for online orders...you have to download the Target app for this, type in your parking spot number, then someone will bring your items out to you. The parking lot to the front doors are all flat ground so need for a ramp there, then the doors are motion-activated and will open for you. Inside, this Target is two or three floors so they have both elevators and escalators. It is brightly lit inside and they have restrooms on the bottom floor, possibly all floors. Experience: this Target is a little smaller in selections than the other Target in Escondido but sometimes this one has stuff the other doesn't. This place has clothing, homegoods, skin care items, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen items, canned items, holiday things and more.”
