“This place is new to the area and I was quite curious to try it. I ordered Pad Thai with shrimp, which for me is a key test of whether I will like a Thai cafe. The serving was quite good and had 6 shrimp. The serving size was ok for lunch, although it’s a little less noodles than I would typically get elsewhere. But the flavors were excellent and food presentation was nice. In other comments, the interior decor is modern and interesting, they played good music, and the utensils had a brass finish which looks a little more elegant. The main drawback, which I pointed out to the hostess, was the cloth napkins have lots of lint and even small particles of something. So that is one aspect needing improvement. But overall, a good choice for lunch that I would try again.”

“Blue Water was magnificent. We ended up here two nights in a row for dinner to see what new fish had come in. The sashimi was extremely fresh. The dishes were very well put together an paired with sauces. Even the beer battered fish and chips was great. Nice, dog friendly, outdoor eating area with sunset views. “Christmas Lunch Review: Pad See Ew was decent and I enjoyed it. Noodles were thick and had a good texture. There was just enough flavor for me to find it tasty but I could have appreciated a little more to be honest. The beef noodle soup was quite lack luster with an excess of noodles that seemed to be extremely clumped. We got a 3/10 spice level for a papaya salad and it felt like a 1/10 at best. Everything was quite unremarkable but overall we still enjoyed our lunch. Who knows, we just came back from Thailand so maybe I'm being a little too harsh. “I went Mendoza’s today, out of curiosity because the opening soon sign, now said Open. Before you step in you see big nice photos of some of the items on the menu. And a few tables and chairs for outside dinning. Once I entered I saw how neat and clean it was. And was greeted right away with a smile and “How are you, and may I help you, and then she let me know “ take your time”. Once I made my selection, she talked with me a little more about the strength of the different sauces. As I continued to look around and at all different food items on the menu. I didn’t even need to sit down because my food was ready. But not only did she greet me a “Goodbye but even the cook in the back did too. Mendoza’ is is truly a 5 Star business, but the food is too. This woman will be back, and if you haven’t been it should be on your need to go list.”

“A pretty great coffee house with a lot of options. They serve breakfast burritos as well. I enjoyed my oat milk latte and also the green tea. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is cozy and the store has a cool notice for Google reviewers up on the wall. They also have a “pay with a post-it” program where you can purchase a drink in advance for someone less fortunate. The person can take a post-it from the chalkboard and get a free drink. The only criticism I have for this place is the name of the corporation—“Beanery Corporation.” It just has a…distasteful ring to it because of its proximity to a certain derogatory term. Edit: The coffee shop has stated that “beanery” is an old, turn-of-the-century term meaning “cafe” or “cheap eats.””

“Great little deli-style, Italian restaurant. Featured on Guy Fieri’s “Dinners, Drive-Ins, and Dives”. This is our second time here. For this trip, we had the chicken parmigiana and the meatball subs. Their red sauce is excellent. The sub rolls are the perfect consistency - soft on the inside with a slight chew on the outside. (Always gets an extra side of sauce for dipping). The chicken parmigiana portion was large, came with a side of bread, and pasta. Small establishment with some inside and outside seating. Large menu selection of entrees, pizza, calzones, salad. Everything you’d expect from a mom and pop pizza restaurant. A must stop.”

It can get hot but they have misters and plenty of shade. Anyway on to the food……I had pork ribs, turkey, brisket and Mac and cheese. All were excellent but if you’re not going to be as greedy as me, the one meat I would suggest would be the pork ribs. Another great side dish is the potato salad. “This place is amazing!! The Umami tonkatsu ramen was delicious, the broth is not heavy but very tasty! I love this type of ramen, and the eggs and chashu are great too! We also ordered the orange lemon roll with lemon mayo sauce (super interesting and yummy) and takoyaki (so good!!). The owner seems to be from Japan so it makes sense the food is wonderful and quite authentic while adapting to the local taste. He's super kind and friendly :)”

“An excellent tucked away café. Hidden in an office building, you'd never expect to find such a spacious and accommodating patio and a clean modern interior. Lattes were tasty, froamy, and not too sugary. Breakfast portions were modest but under 10$, good for not weighing you down if you've got work to do. Bread from local bakery Bread and Cie was a nice touch that elevated the avocado toast and brioche French toast. Simple food with quality ingredients is always in style.”
