“I have eaten here many times, while staying at the hotel or just getting food to-go. I have some favorites that keep me coming back. The Torreyana Burger is excellent. And, adding the Truffle Fries is so worth the extra charge. They are amazing. The Flourless Chocolate Cake is dreamy. I actually do not recommend the Bisque. It is definitely expensive, but feels worth it. Especially when you can sit and gaze at the ocean! They have gotten our to-go order wrong three times recently (thus the four stars). But, I definitely recommend giving it a try if you are in the area.”

“The food here is like home-cooked, comfort food. Thai is not even my favorite type of cuisine, but I liked everything I have tried from here. I have gotten take-out and delivery a few times, and they did great with it. The lunch specials are an amazing deal. It is a lot of food for $10-15. The fried rice with chicken was good. I love spicy food and I got a level 5 spice. It was almost too much. So careful. Ha, ha. And the lunch special comes with a little soup and salad too! They were actually my favorite out of all of the things I have tired. I am definitely gonna have to try the salads soon. For dinner, the Shrimp Suit appetizer was not my thing. Kind of tasteless. But the YELLOW CURRY. Wow. It is full of veggies and I got DUCK in it. Yum. Rice comes with it, and it is really enough for two people. The TOM KAH KAI soup is more like a stew once you add the rice. It is very filling and satisfying. Comfort food. ;) Both this and the Yellow Curry were delicious. When I think of the amount of spices and ingredients I would need to cook this...and time...wow I am converted. Something tells me that I will be much more of a Thai food lover now.”

Most locals are aware that a lot of taco shops aren't too far from another in terms of how good they are. There's too many here that are long time features of the SD culinary landscape so most shops over 5 years old are legit. You'll also find out that each has a particular menu item that is significantly better than the competition too. This one is definitely the spot for surf n' turf fries in the rancho SD area hands down. Consistently good in my experience. El Toro off Meadowbrook offers better surf n turf, but not as consistently. They also offer a variety of beer and wine so come with an appetite and leave with an altogether satisfied experience.”

It just has an unconventional route to order. Not every wienerschnitzel has that problem. Nonetheless, this is a great place for awesome chili dogs! It’s a great value!”

However when I called they where extremely professional, not only did they replace my order, but they personally delivered it to my home when I explained my son was not feeling well and I just got home, and to top it all off they threw in 2 delicious chocolate chip cookies. I understand how it is working in the food industry, accidents happen, orders get mixed up etc. However what does matter is the way these situations are resolved and for that I give this team 5 stars. Whoever was working today between noon and 130pm deserves a paid day off for their excellent customer service. Even the person who took my order at the drive through, who was extra happy and gave off nothing but positive vibes .Thank you for being so understanding, and taking the time to give subperve customer service.”
