“My office orders tortas for lunch for everyone from this place quite frequently. Today, I decided to order the Turkey sandwich and soup combo for lunch and they both exceeded my expectations. One of my coworkers warned me that the tortilla soup wasn't chicken tortilla soup so, I was a little weary, but the taste made up for the lack of chicken. The broth was perfectly seasoned, there is a good mix of vegetables and the cilantro helped gave it a very nice flavor. I got the Turkey sandwich on toasted sourdough bread with provolone cheese and it was very good. They use cucumber in their sandwiches, which isn't common, but it should be because it really kicks up the freshness factor! One of my coworkers goes there for lunch frequently and asked me to pick him up a chamango. I didn't try it but I'm sure I will soon, because it looked very good and large enough to be a meal on it's own.”

Adrian and his team installed a remanufactured transmission that they had built. They had to make a few adjustments so it would work with my setup. They worked late, answered my texts and phone calls and went above and beyond to get me back on the road. I couldn’t be happier. Adrian is very knowledgeable and skillful. “We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Cobblestone Cottage in October 2016. This is a 100+year old restored historic Craftsman home that is in a wonderful old residential district close to everything we enjoy: a quiet place to relax but within walking distance, to friendly and delicious restaurants. We had close proximity to Balboa Park museums and the Globe Theater, and easy access to all of San Diego. Our hostess, Joan, was most cordial and treated us as honored guests. We definitely would recommend this 'Cottage', and we hope to return there again next year.”

I'm sad on weekends when it's closed but I probably order at least once or twice a week. I adore the Cali salad (like a Cali roll but on a bed of delicious salad)! I have probably had every single one of their specialty rolls and I have not had a "bad" one. They're all great!!!”
