“Great (and busy) brunch spot on Coronado Island. We were able to park on the street right out front. There's a wait here as it's apparently a popular spot. It's a tad bit pricey, but right in step with the other restaurants in the area. The menu isn't bloated with a lot of things-just simple, straightforward, (mostly) breakfast fare. The portions are more controlled for a number of the dishes served, which is a difference from California's typical huge-portioned offerings virtually everywhere else. But the food was enjoyable. I had a savory scramble while my wife ordered an omelet. We sat beneath a tent just outside of the building. It was loud, but at least it was warm! Also, the wait staff were competent. Nothing really stood out about the food for us, but it was our first time there and we're more Breakfast Republic people, lol. They've got some cool special options, though, so definitely check those out.”
