“Great supermarket experience. They are focused mainly in Asian cuisine but that is huge! Seafood, meats, sushi supplies, bakery, prepared food, tea selection, desserts, poultry, produce (fruits and veggies), and everything else in between. Prices are great. Wide variety of selections of anything you need. Definitely recommended. They are following safety measures for COVID-19 very well too.”

“Great Italian comfort food! It's not the best Italian food I've had in San Diego, but it's the kind of local restaurant that you can feel good about supporting. Great attitudes and delicious food!”

“I would highly recommend using University Smog for testing your vehicle. Great service and honest, helpful with good advice, in my best interest. I have an old car with mechanical problems, and he gave me the best options that I will definitely use. Worth making a phone call and make your appointment, you won’t regret it. I ll be recommending this smog station to my friends and acquaintances.”

“I went in with my wife to look for an office chair. We were particular as you should be also. We or she wanted an ergonomic mesh chair . they had about 15 different ones and were not very comfortable at all except ONE. But it was 456 dollars , that's a too high of a price . How ever this chair gave us a good idea of what she wants , so I looked on Amazon and found one that looked just like . you have to look very close I only found one . It was 292 $ after tax and the brand was OFFICE STAR . We LUCKED out and when we got it it was Super comfortable with an adjustable lumbar . This lumbar is the kind that sticks way out not the built inside kind. Look for office star on Amazon and match the price 270.98$ before tax - easy , and you will find it . it's the best for my wife who weighs a 100 lbs.thats important to note.”

“San Diego ABA have been absolutely amazing for my youngest. Nick has been so helpful with all my questions and getting insurance compliant. Stephanie and Nick have been amazing helping my daughter and our family work through not only behavioral issues, but the chaos of life in COVID-19 and making sure our daughter is thriving. I could not recommend them enough, I am so thankful we were able to find them and can’t wait to see even more progress to come.”

“Its actually been quite a while since we asked Emerald to do some work on our house, but I just realized that I never provided them with a much deserved 5 star review. The work was pretty standard (installing new lighting, switching old fixtures in recessed lighting, installing a fan and an outdoor fixture), but due to the way our house had previously been wired, the job was a little bigger than it should have been. Regardless, the team was efficient, incredibly professional, and was able to complete all parts of the job at a fair price. Also, I have to say that this team was also made up of genuinely kind, good people. Without going into details, we had a totally unrelated problem come up around the house, and the Emerald team (we had three at the house, I think) all jumped in to help without a bit of hesitation, offering support and hands on assistance (while still wrapping up the job on time). So if you want good quality electric work done be really great people, go with them.”

“This is, perhaps, the first taco shop where I took one bite of my food and realized that I should have asked for extra meat if anything. I'm definitely going back. I love the meat here. Very good quality. Update: went back the following day for a crack breakfast burrito. I added grilled onions and cilantro. They gave me some of their extra hot sauce and it was great. Strongly recommend the Crack Taco shop.”

“I've tried other hypnotherapists before. What I like about Linda is the first hour is free. I got to sample her style and personality before committing to more sessions. Since my first visit I've gone back three times to see her. Each time great. The results are integrated and growing strength in my life. Thank you Linda!”

“I love living in this communal retirement community. I searched far and wide and can promise you, there is none better. The services: activities, and available wellness support is exceptional. The staff is fantastic, helpful and somehow can handle all the residents’ needs regardless if they are simple or extremely complicated. I moved here from my lovely La Jolla home when I chose to not live alone after my husband passed away. My ocean view one bedroom apartment has fabulous old world architecture, and from the french doors and from all of my windows I have ocean views, even from my kitchen. The french doors to the three balconies overlook the beach and the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. I walk on the ocean side across the street from Casa de Manana every day. Life can only be so hard, when you wake up each day and begin to appreciate the thoughtful and nurturing environment in which you live. I moved here mostly to be part of this type of social setting. The other residents, for the most part, are interesting, educated: scientists, writers, artists, retired diplomats, medical practitioners and retired University Professors. Conversations in the beautiful Oceanfront Dining Room are lively and interesting. The the food is excellent. The staff who run the dining services are dedicated and very accommodating. The young people who serve us in the dining room are friendly and smart and always accommodating to our needs and wants. They add a feeling of youthful exuberance and enthusiasm to our environment. I am grateful to be able to partake in all these riches (activities, lectures, concerts, theatre trips, yoga classes, exercise classes, art classes, a full gym and a well heated pool for swimming, bridge club, scrabble and other games, and many many more available scheduled and impromptu events). The residents have formed clubs so numerous that sometimes you can fill your days with interesting, well run lectures. The organization is run like a cooperative. Meetings are frequent and very well organized and everyone seems to have a voice in the formation of policies. The Marketing Department is excellent and sensitive to the residents’ desires. Everyone here goes to great lengths to respond to each person’s requests, sometimes even prophylactically. I was an academic administrator at Columbia University before retirement and I have marveled at how well this place is run. Living here feels like living with a great neighborhood of fascinating potential friends and acquaintances both with the other residents and the staff. They have handled the COVID-19 pandemic with precision , expertise and and up-to-date education. So far, none of the residents have tested positive for the virus There is a world class Wellness Center which is staffed round the clock and they respond immediately to any health issues that arise. The staff is regularly tested for the virus and wear masks while on the job. So far so good. It is easy to feel that we are in a safe bubble. I feel like I am living in a Ritz Carlton resort with many more services and lots of friends to engage with. Nothing is perfect, but this is pretty close. I am so glad I was able to move here when I did. I am very social active and eager to learn. I can’t think of a better place to spend this stage of my life.”

“When I moved to San Diego last year, I had a few issues while registering my car due to a check engine light, so the gentleman at Express Auto Registration recommended I go to A&R Auto Repair. I’ve lived in multiple states, and all I can say after about 6 or so visits this past year— Mesfun and Sam at A&R Auto Repair are the most honest, respectful, calm, reliable and hardworking auto mechanics I’ve ever come across who provide quality service and don’t rip you off! They simply listened to my needs, and not once tried talking me up into spending more money than necessary. I don’t have car knowledge so I very much appreciated being shown the wear&tear on my car parts versus what it’s supposed to look like, and simplifying car terminology so I was able to understand how one part affected the other. Thank you Mesfun & Sam for your services, and making my car better and safer to drive!”
