“I have attended numerous events at the El Cajon Courtyard Marriott, but this was the first time actual staying there. This weekend trip was with my elderly mother, and I wanted a special get away. We had a nice time, and she enjoyed several of the Marriott’s amenities. I was glad to see the cleanness standard of the hotel is carried to the guest rooms, Leo serviced our room and she does excellent work. We had requested a handicap accessible room. We were pleased that there were adequate handrails on the toilet and a seat in the shower. We purchased the breakfast package room rate, and I wish there had been more options than what was included in the meal. Most of the items on the menu apart from the oatmeal was not senior friendly. The staff was nice but was not able to substitute from their limited breakfast menu. I ended up having to order from the regular menu to accommodate our dietary needs. We enjoyed listening to the music and it adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel are warm and friendly. A special thank you to Cody for the assistance of the late check out.”

“Cool location, walking distance from the Courtyard Marriott, great service, and good food. Sat at the outside bar in the courtyard area. Was there during off peak hours thus the service was great for me! I enjoyed the food - maybe not my all time favorite Mexican food but definitely very good. I'm not a margherita drinker but I was told by two locals that they are some of the best around. Wished they had some spicier selections and/or hotter salsas but that's just me! Visited twice during a two day stay!”
