“A hidden gem in downtown El Cajon. Olaf had an interesting life, immigrating here from Denmark at 19. Very talented artist in oil, watercolor, pen and ink and even bronze. But the pleasant surprise was the cactus garden. Serene, with birds, lizards and running water surrounding Olaf's relocated original rustic home from the late 40's. Both John Wayne and Ronald Reagan bought his original Western art. Glad I took the time to browse the museum and garden.”

“Awesome little spot. Not a ton of parking, but there is extra street parking. Little park for the kids and a walking path. Beautiful view over the lake.”

“Spacious park that is perfect if you want to through a party. It is very easy to contact the parks and rec services and request permission to have a bouncy house / event here or any park in the Scripps Ranch area. They are so nice and very helpful I came here for a kickball game and it was tons of fun. We didn't need to reserve the spot since nobody was there and we were less than 15 people. At night they have lights but its not super great lighting. I would recommend to have your activities during the day.”

“If you miss the days when a Doctor would: a) actually take his time with you and not rush, b) explain your condition so you actually understand what's wrong with you, c) discuss various options and why he recommends a certain treatment, d) almost forgot - actually sees you at the exact time of your appointment..... if you miss those days, or never experienced them, but would like to (again), you must see Dr. Berkowitz. He and his office is like what medical care used to be, or should be. There is one other anachronism which is consistent with the experience. Dr. Berkowitz does not accept insurance. When first rate medical care and genuine attention outweigh the financial and convenience factors, see Dr. Berkowitz. Awesome doctor and experience!”

“This place is awesome. The owner is very friendly and I forget his name at the moment. He remembered me from over a year ago! Just a great person to know and chat with. Great beer selection. I always feel welcome at this store and would go out of my way to purchase here as opposed to vons. Good firewood here too. They even help you load it into the car. That says a lot about a person and their business. Please support this local owner.”

“I like this place for a change of pace. The food is good, they gave a great salsa bar and the people are friendly. My burrito this time was just OK. I ordered a bean and cheese wet. The enchilada sauce to me tasted canned. Definitely not what I was expecting as their salsa is pretty good! I also found a chunk of chicken in my burrito (by biting into it). I'm a vegetarian for ethical reasons so it didn't gross me out or anything but I don't like the cross contamination aspect of it.”

“Highly, highly recommend Valeria! The thing that stood out most was her passion for photography, which definitely came across in the quality of the photos. She captured the exact vibe we were going for even with the challenging event lighting (which was in a movie theater setting, so it was very dark). She’s able to capture people’s emotion and the photos look incredibly natural. She also had suggestions on adding some lights here and there and moving a few objects around, which definitely enhanced the aesthetic. We received the final edits very fast and loved them. We’d love to work with her again!”

“I recently bought a 2003 Dodge Ram that had some concerning sounds coming from the rear end. After a recommendation from my neighbor, I gave Matt a call to come by and have him take a look. As soon as I pulled up, he was already walking out to greet me and knew exactly who I was. Without skipping a beat, he said "let's go for a drive". My dad used to own an auto shop and he instantly reminded me of my dad and how down to earth he was. No nonsense, just honest and right down to business. He showed me around his shop and took the time to explain to me what the problems could be. I felt at ease knowing what I was up against and felt at ease. I left my truck in his care and he and Roger were kind enough to keep me updated throughout the process. Unfortunately it ended up needing a whole new rear axle, and being a lot more than I expected to spend, but again, Matt put me at ease with a fantastic warranty to back up their work and an overall relatively clean bill of health for my truck. Please don't hesitate to give Matt's Caddy Shack a call. They're a good honest shop that doesn't rely on frills or fancy facilities. Their work speaks for itself.”

“Awesome customer service The parts you buy from screed masters are better than what you get from the manufacture and half the price”
